Sam Bushman delivers a solo reflection on the perilous state of America and the principles that can heal it. He covers the approaching hurricane and why God is the ultimate weatherman, how obeying divine commandments brings protection from both natural and man-made disasters, the God-ordained family as the safest place for children backed by indisputable research, Joseph Smith Jr.'s teaching that correct principles enable self-governance, the botched execution of Krista Pike becoming a national spectacle that mirrors Rome's decline, the doom-and-gloom news culture that profits from blood, why peaceable assembly means following the Prince of Peace, the epidemic of contention and criticism destroying society, and how liberty is the natural result of following principle while tyranny is the natural result of abandoning it.
