[00:00:13] Broadcasting live from atop the Rocky Mountains, the crossroads of the West. You are listening to the Liberty Roundtable Radio Talk Show. All right. Happy to have you along, my fellow Americans. Sam Bushman live on your radio. Hard-hitting news that ever should fuse to use, no doubt, starts now. This, my fellow Americans, is the broadcast for January 29th in the year of our Lord, 2025.

[00:00:42] This is Hour 1 of 2 and the goal always to protect life, liberty, and property, to promote God, family, and country. Through so on your radio and the traditions of our founding fathers. Yes, indeed. We use the blueprint for liberty, the Constitution for the United States of America. That is our guide. We're convinced the checks and balances brilliantly put in place by the founding fathers. What are the peaceful, restorative solutions we have at our fingertips? We reject revolution unless it's a Jesus revolution, and then we're in because we follow the Prince of Peace.

[00:01:09] Welcome to the broadcast and hard-hitting news the networks refuse to use. Ladies and gentlemen, we've got a barn burner broadcast for you today. Brian Rust over there at freewatercoinco.com will be with us here in a few minutes breaking down some of the economic realities that we face. Of course, talking about the Honest Money Report and more. But, man, I'm telling you right now, let me just see if I can get this headline right. Stellar job.

[00:01:40] That's an exclamation point. Stellar job is my headline. Yes, indeed. What am I referring to, you might ask? I'm talking about Caroline Leavitt. Donald Trump's press secretary. President Donald J. Trump's press secretary. Stellar job is all I can say.

[00:02:02] White House press secretary, Caroline Leavitt, speaks at the first press briefing. It's her first. 27 years old. The youngest to ever fill the seat. She comes out. I'm telling you right now. Hits a home run. It is something to behold.

[00:02:23] Trump's White House opens, listen, the briefing room to non-legacy media. The idea is, quote, share Trump's message everywhere. I can talk and I will. But let's first just straight out hear a little clip from Karen's incredible press briefing. She took him on, baby. I mean, it was incredible. Here she is.

[00:02:52] President Trump has held multiple news conferences, gaggled on Air Force One multiple times, and sat down for a two-part interview on Fox News, which aired last week. As Politico summed it up best, Trump is everywhere again. And that's because President Trump has a great story to tell about the legendary American revival that is well underway.

[00:03:17] And in keeping with this revolutionary media approach that President Trump deployed during the campaign, the Trump White House will speak to all media outlets and personalities, not just the legacy media who are seated in this room. Because according to recent polling from Gallup, Americans' trust in mass media has fallen to a record low.

[00:03:39] Millions of Americans, especially young people, have turned from traditional television outlets and newspapers to consume their news from podcasts, blogs, social media, and other independent outlets. It's essential to our team that we share President Trump's message everywhere and adapt this White House to the new media landscape in 2025. To do this, I am excited to announce the following changes will be made to this historic James S. Brady briefing room,

[00:04:08] where Mr. Brady's legacy will endure. This White House believes strongly in the First Amendment, so it's why our team will work diligently to restore the press passes of the 440 journalists whose passes were wrongly revoked by the previous administration. We're also opening up this briefing room to new media voices who produce news-related content and whose outlet is not already represented by one of the seats in this room.

[00:04:34] We welcome independent journalists, podcasters, social media influencers, and content creators to apply for credentials to cover this White House. And you can apply now on our new website, whitehouse.gov slash newmedia. Starting today, this seat in the front of the room, which is usually occupied by the press secretary's staff, will be called the new media seat.

[00:05:01] My team will review the applications and give credentials to new media applicants who meet our criteria and pass United States Secret Service requirements to enter the White House complex. So in light of these announcements, our first questions for today's briefing will go to these new media members whose outlets, despite being some of the most viewed news websites in the country, have not been given seats in this room. There you have it, ladies and gentlemen.

[00:05:30] I'm telling you right now, she hit it out of the park. Stellar job. White House press secretary, press secretary Caroline Leavitt doubles down. We welcome independent journalists, podcasters, social media influencers, and content creators to apply. Now, it's so bad that Jim Acosta is leaving CNN. I mean, it's that bad for the mainstream press, flat out melting down.

[00:06:01] But let me tell you what I find interesting, to say the least. I'm going to take myself. Yes, indeed. I'm going to take myself a victory lap over Caroline Leavitt's incredible press conference. Let me explain why. You know, I've been the guy saying new media takes center stage. I've been giving speeches about that for literally years. Even before Trump, you know, took office, I talked about the new media. Before that, I used to give speeches.

[00:06:28] He who owns the media makes the rules and so on and so on. Right. Well, of all the words that the Trump administration could use to roll out welcoming independent journalists, podcasters, everyone else is to say, hey, why don't you apply at our website? Right. Well, they give the website whitehouse.gov slash. New media.

[00:06:57] Whitehouse.gov slash new media. Now, I have been probably the guy that has coined new media as the phrase more than anybody else on the planet. Now, were they really listening to Sam Bushman? Many would say, no, come on, Sam, you think too much of yourself. Maybe, maybe not.

[00:07:17] It's interesting to me how many, many, many things that I say, that we say on Liberty Roundtable Live, that Liberty News Radio, I mean, I can keep going, loving Liberty.net radio networks and more. Many things we say end up in the mainstream. I mean, we got thanked over at the CSPOA by Steve Bannon saying Trump wanted to thank us for our effort to shut down the DEA guy Donald was thinking of. Donald backed away from it and gave us credit and said, hey, thank you guys for your leadership on this.

[00:07:46] Do you have name recommendations? So many of the things we say and do end up in the mainstream, we don't necessarily get credit for it. Nor do we need credit for it. But I don't believe it's a coincidence when I've been saying new media forever. And of all the terms they could use, social media, influencers, or whatever word they use, whitehouse.gov slash new media. Now, even if they came up with it themselves and they didn't give, you know, I don't get credit for it, I still take a victory lap.

[00:08:16] Why? Because I've been telling you the new media takes center stage for a long time, right? Well, it takes such center stage that whitehouse.gov slash new media is how they're changing the press corps in the Trump administration. So I went and applied the very day Caroline Leavitt said this yesterday. I went and applied for these credentials. Now, I don't know how this is going to work yet.

[00:08:44] I don't know if it's just you apply and you can go in the White House briefing room. I mean, I live in Utah and I don't have an easy way to get there. I don't want to live in Washington, D.C. to report the news. I can promise you that. So I think Caroline Leavitt and others need to really consider, hey, how do we expand this? To be a virtual room, not just a room, right?

[00:09:06] How do we, you know, they can put technology in place that could literally let us in real time over Zoom or other equivalent technologies to literally be part of that press briefing in that press room, virtually speaking, not necessarily in the room. That's part of the new media taking center stage that I'm talking about, right?

[00:09:26] And so I really hope I can work with Caroline Leavitt and many of these other folks on this because it's overlapping ideas if I don't get credit and it's my idea if I get credit. Don't care which. Not interested in credit. I am interested in the fact that the new media is indeed taking center stage.

[00:09:43] And if the president's URL to sign up a broader spectrum of younger media, of influencers, of podcasters, of, okay, kicked off by the youngest press secretary in the business, and they use the term that Sam Bushman's been using forever, well, good on them. Because, boy, howdy is the new media taking center stage when the White House says whitehouse.gov slash new media. It's just tremendous.

[00:10:09] Well, in addition to that, I'm putting together another initiative that I find fascinating. I obtained the website, listen carefully, bebestpress.com. So imagine if they let me get the credentials, they give me the credentials. Imagine if they expand it to a virtual room, not just a physical room. They really take the new media concept seriously. And then they go ahead and, you know, put me in there.

[00:10:33] And then I start promoting Be Best Press and working with Melania to bring out a lot of good news stories. Stories that put Trump and the administration in a fair, honest light. What do you think of that, folks? I'm in. The new media is taking center stage. Are you on board? Hang tight.

[00:11:21] All right. All right. All right. Preparedness begins with PrepStartsNow.com.

[00:13:16] Yes, indeed. Stiller job. Caroline Leavitt speaks at her first press briefing, and boy, does she hit it out of the park. She schools reporters. I mean, she just does so much in her first press briefing. It's gonna be hard to top that going forward day to day. She brilliantly... Wow. What's the word? Brilliantly? There you go. Brilliantly. Brilliantly. Dealt with the press like a boss.

[00:13:45] I mean, she did. They tried to trap her with questions, and she's like, no, no, no, stop. She didn't say it in those words. But they're like, so you're saying that this means that... No, I'm not saying that at all. There's a memo here. Y'all can read it. Here's a copy. Let me read to you again a portion of this. And she sticks with the script. Then they try to bait her again. This is the old guard press, right? Clowns. And she says, I'm not gonna get ahead of the president on this topic. I'm gonna wait. I'm gonna sit back. I'm gonna... You know what?

[00:14:13] I'm gonna get with President Trump. I'm gonna... Then they're like, oh, do you represent Trump or do you... Yes, of course I represent President Trump. I'm his press secretary. She schools them. It was brilliant. It was incredible. So everybody else got to ask a question in the press room. And I'm still, you know, back here in Utah and analyzing the news from afar. And I'd love to, you know, be part of the new media taking center stage. And so I signed up.

[00:14:43] Whitehouse.gov slash new media. What a great term, by the way. Caroline, leave it. What a great term. Donald Trump, Cash Patel. Y'all up there doing a phenomenal job. What a great term. The new media. Love it. Dig it. Believe in it. You're right as rain. And it is taking center stage. Jim Acosta leaving CNN. He was doing so horrible. They gave him a midnight slot and he rejected it. Now he's gone. Thank heavens. You know, the clown show of arguing with the president and the administration is over.

[00:15:10] I get that you want to ask some hard questions, but it needs to be done in a dignified way. It needs to be done in a respectful way. It needs to be done in a... Oh, man. I'm going to go back to another phrase that I use. And this is something that Caroline, leave it. I pray she steals. And I don't mean that in a bad way when I say steal. I mean, I pray she grabs onto the term, right? And that is civility. We want a clarion call for civility in the media and in the news. We can disagree with Trump all day long. I disagree with him on several things. But you know what?

[00:15:39] I don't hate on Donald. I'm not a never-Trumper guy. I'm a... You know what? I see it through my own lens guy. I'm an American. I have the right to do that. And I hope in the course of public civil debate, I can advocate for my viewpoints. When it's time to discuss, then I'll push pretty hard and advocate for my views. I should. That's what the new media is about. That's what America is about. That's what healthy dialogue is about. That's what the founding fathers loved and believed in. I mean, AKA 1A. First Amendment, baby.

[00:16:09] Right? Okay, I get it. I support it. I love it. I believe in it. 100%. And that's why when I get criticized for having people on my network that I may or may not agree with on different topics, I just say, you know what? I believe in the First Amendment. Well, how come you don't have any liberals on it? Because none of the liberals are willing to pay me. That's why. I run a radio network. I'm in the business of radio time, right? And it takes money to make all this happen. Anyway, I digress. But what I'm saying is, hey, I hope they take my idea for civility next.

[00:16:39] Why don't we work on with Melania Trump, Be Best? And why don't we work on a Be Best press corps? And the new media taking center stage is going to start out with Be Best Press. And we're going to go ahead and make a difference the best we can. And we're going to do so in a civil way. Even if we disagree with Trump on many of your topics, we don't have to do it in a hostile, hate-filled kind of way. It doesn't need to go down like that. It just doesn't need to go down like that. So anyway, I commend Caroline Leavitt.

[00:17:10] And I really appreciate her dedication to her craft and her job, craft meaning in the media. She's got a lot of experience. She's young, but boy, is she capable. Boy, is she witty. Boy, does she tell them, you know what? No, we're not saying no. That's not what we're saying. No. So they asked her, hey, what about this spending thing? And my gosh, Donald's locking down spending. And what's it going to do? And they asked the same question like four times.

[00:17:37] And she finally snaps a little bit back at them and goes, you guys have asked me this same question four times. And so she's polite. She's respectful. She's got civility. But at the same time, she's not going to be pushed around. And I think she's, I'm just telling you right now, we need people like that. Right? Anyway, she says, we welcome independent. Independent, and that's a really important phrase.

[00:18:05] We welcome independent journalists, podcasters, social media influencers, and content creators to apply for credentials to cover this White House. Boy, do I want to be one of those. But I want to do it from Utah. I want a big virtual new media room, baby. We don't need an old room that everybody has to file in there unless you live in the Washington District of Criminals. I mean, who in their right mind wants to live there? I don't. Okay?

[00:18:35] So when Donald Trump says we can decentralize, boy howdy, if there's one area we can decentralize, it's in the media. We don't need a big briefing room like that. Open it up via Zoom. Give people a chance to speak and ask questions. Jim Acosta leaving CNN just makes the point that they're absolutely melting down. And all I can tell you is it's great, great news. Anyway, Caroline Leavitt has been on this program before, ladies and gentlemen. It was a great interview.

[00:19:04] Very nice lady. Very respectful. Very appropriate. Great job. And so I want to give a big old shout out to the administration. To President Donald J. Trump. To Karen. Caroline. I don't know why I keep saying Karen. Caroline Leavitt. Leave it. Levitt. Caroline Leavitt. Because she's doing a great job. And I commend her. And I want to say one more thing to Caroline about this.

[00:19:32] Don't, in my opinion, don't get to where you favor any group over any other group. Use a round robin approach. And let everybody ask their questions. Even if you don't like the question. Even if you think it's a clown question. Even if, just respectfully answer the question and move on. Because then you don't get into the right-left paradigm.

[00:20:02] You don't get into the Republican-Democrat paradigm. In my mind, the administration, the presidential administration, is above partisan politics when they're president. It isn't a Republican president. Or a Democrat president. That is a lie that we've all fallen into. Where it's like, hey, let's defend our good old boys forever. It's about the party now. And let's attack the other guys. No. See, you've got to stop and say, the president of the United States is nonpartisan now.

[00:20:31] I understand he got elected on a Republican ticket. I understand. But now the president of the United States represents everybody in this great country. Everyone. And therefore, it's not a partisan discussion anymore. It's an American discussion now. And so I want to give Caroline a little bit of guidance. She's young and she could use some support from good friends in the biz. And I'm telling you right now, do a round robin approach. Give everybody a chance to ask a question. If people ask clown questions, you know what? Be nice. Answer the question. Then move along.

[00:21:01] And when I say answer the question, that doesn't mean you have to answer the question they want you to either. You're totally fine to push back and say, no, we don't see it that way. No, we don't. You know what? All these people are suing President Trump over this funding freezing or fund freeze going on. Hey, we see it that it's unconstitutional to spend money that we don't have and to spend money out of line with President Trump's initiatives. Okay. She has every right to answer that way. So when I say answer the question, Caroline, leave it.

[00:21:31] I don't mean that you've got to answer it in the way they want you to or anything else. You can answer it however you believe. You're as free as the press should be to say, to think, to believe, to advocate, to protect, to do whatever you need to do as the press secretary for the president of the United States above partisan politics. So, Caroline, you're not a Democrat or Republican in this sense. You are the press secretary for the president of the United States who represents everybody in the country.

[00:21:58] And you need to pitch it that way and say, listen, if you guys are hostile and treat me unkindly, you know what? You are a disgrace to the media industry. I can ask a hard question, and that doesn't mean, let me be careful, that doesn't mean that I have to agree with everything they say, right? That's the deal.

[00:22:27] Everybody, okay, so 22 states sue President Trump over spending freeze. Now, you say, well, what do you think about that, Sam? Well, a judge halted the spending freeze. I have a big problem with this idea that judges can just flat out shut down the president of the United States. At every turn?

[00:22:57] I find that curious and concerning. Now, you say, well, Sam, aren't the judges the ones that are supposed to interpret the law? Yes. Okay. But does the president have the right to spend or not spend whatever dollar he chooses? That's where the minutiae comes in. Trump says he has that right. But a single judge saying, no, you don't have that right?

[00:23:26] Who adjudicates this when and where? It's just a single robed thug somewhere to decide that all the time. Trump says this. Judge says no. Judge wins. Trump's shut down. As far as I understand, Caroline Leavitt said, hey, they are appealing the judge right now. And I say, good on them. But in the meantime, does the judge have the right just to halt the non-spending and forced spending? I don't think the judge has that power.

[00:23:56] We need to start looking at impeaching judges for their abuse. They're out of control. They think they've got more power than the president of the United States. Shame on them for that because they don't. All right, hang tight. I am Sam Bushman. We've got a lot straight ahead. [00:29:57] From atop the Rocky Mountains, the crossroads of the West, you are listening to the Liberty Roundtable Radio Talk Show.

[00:30:24] Back with you live, ladies and gentlemen, 22-plus states to sue President Trump and the Trump administration over his spending freeze. I commend Donald Trump with the spending freeze. Caroline Levitt explained it in detail yesterday in the press briefing. She said, look, this is a temporary halt, and we're doing it because we need to analyze all the expenditures to make sure they're in line with the administration and the agenda of the administration.

[00:30:53] Trump issued 300 executive orders or so, changing the way the United States government works in many, many, many ways. Now, from a personal point of view, do I like that he's using executive orders? No, I don't, because I don't believe most executive orders are acceptable or appropriate, okay? Remember, the legislative body mix law is not the president. So I have a little bit of a heartburn over that. However, this is the standard in America today,

[00:31:19] and as much as I disagree with it, as much as I can advocate against it, it's what they're doing. So I've got to look at it and say, I don't like the way we're going about some of this, but I do like a lot of what's happening. And all we need to do is have Congress get aboard, and we're in good shape. Anyway, Caroline Levitt explained that these spending freezes are temporary. They need to analyze the expenditures.

[00:31:46] Okay, so for example, President Trump has set an executive order forward that we're not going to do DEI stuff anymore. We're not going to do diversity, equity, and inclusion anymore. It's bogus. It's wrong. It's got to stop, and we're not doing it. So they're looking at expenditures, right? And they're saying, hey, you know what? We're not going to go along with that.

[00:32:14] For example, over a dozen Republican attorneys general are calling on Costco, you know, the big whatever you want to call it, warehouse store or whatever, you know, Costco, they're calling on Costco to ditch its DEI policies. The effort is spearheaded by, believe it or not, 19 attorneys general.

[00:32:43] They want them to follow the law. Well, again, this is where I kind of feel like, you know what? Businesses that are in the private sector can do what they want, right? I don't really like government to be able to call the shots on any of that stuff. But again, President Trump has set forward an executive order and said we're not doing DEI stuff. Now you say, well, wait a minute, Sam, how can you be against the executive orders but before this?

[00:33:11] Look, I think by executive order did we create DEI in the first place. So is it right that if we created something bogus in the first place that we could use the same bogus way out of it as we got into it? In many ways, I think the answer is yes. If the president promotes DEI by executive order, do we need Congress to stop that? See, I don't think so. It's really a pretend legislation. It's a law that never was.

[00:33:40] Go read your Declaration of Independence. Go check out the Founding Fathers on this. Okay, so it shouldn't be. And so if Biden or Obama or whoever makes DEI the policy of the United States by executive order, Donald certainly can get rid of it by executive order and say it's a law that never was, not, not be. And if there's laws that are passed that are unconstitutional, listen to me carefully, there are laws that never were. You can't have a law that circumvents the supreme law

[00:34:11] unless you change the law via the supreme law of the land's provisions to change the law. You can't work with outside the system, folks. And you can't circumvent the system. So even though I'm not totally for these executive orders, a lot of them, I do support that if you can create something by fiat, you can by fiat reject it, get rid of it. Right? So, hey, when there's over a dozen Republican attorneys general,

[00:34:40] they say 19 of them, calling on Costco, hey, they can use their influence to do that and write an open letter. Right? They can ask Costco to follow the law. They can demand that. They can, okay. So there's a lot to be had that's good here. I'm not just being critical. Let me give you another example to make the point.

[00:35:05] Donald Trump officially calls for end to income tax. Maybe the first POTUS in history to do so. Now, to me, this is tremendous news. We've been asking for this for decades. Get rid of the hostile hate-filled income tax. Why? Because it's unconstitutional. You say, oh, no, Sam, Congress passed the 16th Amendment.

[00:35:34] That's what authorizes it. No, that's a lie. Don't even go there. It's not true. First off, if you go dig into the history of it, the 16th Amendment was never even properly ratified. But that's a secondary issue. The first primary issue is you cannot violate the intent of the founders. The IRS has become a Gestapo thugocracy. All right? I've got friends that are political prisoners in jail right this minute over the IRS.

[00:36:02] Because the IRS decided they were guilty, threw them in prison, stole their house, everything else. There was an appropriate judge-jury. There wasn't a jury of peers. You say, well, yeah, there was Sam. No, that's not true. What do you mean, Sam? There was a jury of the peers. Yeah, I know. I went and testified before one of them. And the judge basically said, don't listen to a word this guy says, meaning me.

[00:36:25] And the judge tried to censure me and tried to basically hold me in contempt of court because he didn't like what I was telling when I was explaining the whole truth. The whole truth doesn't mean what it means to me and you. To the judge. The whole truth means to the judge you answer the questions quickly, succinctly, yes, no, maybe, right, wrong. You don't explain or expand. That's not your prerogative, Sam. And if you do it, I'll hold you in contempt of court. That's the kind of clown show that the jury got.

[00:36:51] The judge kicked the jury out, literally assaulted me, attacked me verbally. And then basically brought the jury in and said, don't listen to a word this guy had to say. You call that a jury of peers? You call that a fair, open, transparent, fully informed jury? I don't think so. So that's what I mean. So Donald Trump now is literally calling for in an official way now.

[00:37:21] Because it's not, you know, when he was not president and he ran as a candidate, I kind of ignored all that he had to say with a grain of salt. Why? Because everybody says everything to get elected. Is that right? No. Do I like that? No. But do they do it? Yes. You got to give them a little bit of grain of salt? Yes. They're, you know, putting forward their best resume. I get it. I understand. Okay. But now Trump is president of the United States of America, the leader of the free world, for crying out loud, with tremendous authority. Let's be clear.

[00:37:58] Let's get it done. You can increase tariffs right now by February 1. You want to know how to be the hero, President Trump? You put tariffs on Feb 1st, on Canada, Mexico, and China. You've already talked about it. Caroline Leavitt in the press conference yesterday was literally doubling down saying, hey, she was asked about this 66 ways from Sunday.

[00:38:25] And she said, listen, President Trump on Air Force One and the gaggle already answered all these questions. And I'm going to echo what he had to say, which is these tariffs will stand. Now, is it bluster by the president? I don't know. I don't think so. We only got a couple of days left. I hope the tariffs go into effect. And you say, Sam, costs will just go through the roof. It'll be out of control. It will, unless you abolish the IRS.

[00:38:52] What if President Trump said you will not be filing income taxes for 2025 or 2024, I mean. I know you file in 2025, but we're not doing that. We're just simply going to abolish the IRS, giving Americans anywhere from what? How much do people pay in taxes? 12%, 14% at the bottom? From on up to, you know, 30, 40, whatever percent. Individuals are not going to pay taxes now.

[00:39:21] In fact, the government's going to give you a refund for all the taxes they collected in 2024. Everyone's going to get money back, but put in new money, first of all. And, okay, imagine that. So I say, Trump, put in the tariffs, put the tariffs in place and get rid of the income tax immediately. You want to be a hero? Don't just call for the end of the income tax. Go ahead and get rid of the unconstitutional criminal IRS. Why is it criminal? Because it violates the separation of powers. That's why.

[00:39:51] Okay. It's judge, jury, and executioners what it is. I mean, if you don't believe me, they've even got a special IRS court. Why would it need its own special court? I would ask. Any reason? Any logical, make sense reason? I don't think so. So, Donald, go ahead and throw those tariffs in place, buddy, and then abolish the income tax immediately. Get her done. And let me say this.

[00:40:16] You can tinker with the tariffs based on decreasing spending at the governmental level, which we'll get into here in a minute. You can go ahead and we don't need to raise more money. In fact, we can raise a lot less money if we spend a lot less at the government. That's what these cost-cutting programs are about. Right? When Trump wants a spending freeze, hey, that spending freeze along with tariffs could let us get rid of the IRS.

[00:40:43] And imagine taxes wouldn't be direct anymore with judge, jury, and executioner. They would be indirect. That's the founder's intent, ladies and gentlemen, to pay for the proper role of limited government but not tax the people directly. I love it. [00:43:05] All right, back with you live, ladies and gentlemen, Sam Bushman on your radio. So we're talking about Donald Trump abolishing the income tax. And boy, howdy. Don't just talk about it, Donald. Let's do it, buddy. I think the American people would love an economic reality check like that. Go ahead and put tariffs at the border. Go ahead and reduce spending. Right? Do that spending freeze. Reduce spending big time.

[00:43:32] And then really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really focus on how to appropriately carry out the proper role of government. Right? I think that's something that we could do right away. And I think that you could give the people the reprieve they need. It would be something. I don't know why 22 states are suing the Trump administration over the spending freeze. They're primarily Democrats that want to spend ourselves into oblivion.

[00:44:01] They've got to stop that. Okay? We don't need to spend more money. We're spending way too much money. I don't know if these clowns know, but we're, what, 100 and some odd trillion dollars in debt if you take unfunded liabilities? At least 36 plus trillion dollars if you accept just whatever's on the books? Okay, we cannot handle that. Right? Anyway, I call for the end of the income tax just like Donald Trump.

[00:44:26] I also call for, I also call for an effort by the Trump administration to look at political prisoners beyond J6, beyond pro-lifers. There's a lot of political prisoners that have been wronged by the IRS, for example, that have been wronged by all kind of things. Financial, look, they attacked Steve Stockman, my dear friend, for example. Took them four times to get him.

[00:44:57] Not because he had done anything wrong, but because they had to manipulate things and bribe people and threaten people to get him in jail in the first place. Okay, this is an example where this has got to stop. There's so many examples where people are political prisoners, and so we need a political prisoner commission. PPC, not the CCP, the PPC, right?

[00:45:21] We need to go ahead and look at political prisoners and create a commission to look at them case by case and say, look, does this person belong in prison? Because let me give you an example. Even if you think somebody's done something wrong, we need to have the sentence match the crime. So I got a buddy. His name is Ken Cromar, dear friend of mine. Miraclesandgodwetrust.com, I think is his website. And you know what?

[00:45:49] He's sideways with the IRS because he doesn't believe the income tax is legitimate. He believes it's criminal. And I agree with him. I agree with him. I disagree with his tactics, meaning I pay my, you know, I rendered a Caesar what is Caesar's. So I'm a little different. But I agree with him that they're criminal. They're judge, jury, and executioner. Well, they basically took his house. They threw him in prison. There's a big old to-do. But it's a big old to-do about nothing because, look, Ken Cromar has these sincere beliefs.

[00:46:21] Now, you say, well, he's guilty, Sam. Yeah, but that doesn't mean that you take away his primary residence, make him and his wife homeless. It also doesn't mean that you throw him in prison for years, making the American people pay a ton of money to keep this guy in prison. He is not violent. While we're advocating for criminals on the streets that are violent, and then we're going to put Ken Cromar in prison, why don't you let Ken Cromar out of prison?

[00:46:49] If you think that he's done something wrong, give him an ankle bracelet with probation. Let him make a living to support his family and not be on the public dole. He could be putting, well, if he got rid of the IRS, he'd be putting money into the treasury by buying things that would have tariffs on them. And he can be a productive member of society even so. He's not dangerous. He's not violent. He's not a threat. But he will absolutely go to the mat over this.

[00:47:19] He's already been in prison for well over a year and a half. They've already taken away everything from him. He has nothing to lose anymore. Why do we have to have that battle? Why don't we consider him a political prisoner? Why don't we get a commission at the PPC, the Political Prisoner Commission, and why don't we analyze that case and say, listen, the sentence does not fit the crime here. Even if you think he's committed a crime, fine. What should be the sentence for a guy that's nonviolent?

[00:47:49] That's a first offender. That just sincerely believes the IRS is criminal. And that he does not owe those taxes based on the minutiae, the confusing reality of the law. What about that? Should he be in prison? Should we, the people, have to pay just thousands of dollars to keep him there away from his family, away from his wife, away from society, treat him like a criminal? Is that really necessary?

[00:48:23] Solitary. He called me. They handcuff my hands behind my back and this and that. Is that really necessary for a Ken Cromar?

[00:48:50] I mean, you're treating this guy like he's top dog criminal. Like he's dangerous. Even to the jail, he's dangerous. Or to the, you know, the people that work in the jail. Okay, this guy's not dangerous. He's never committed a violent act in his life. He's not against the government. He believes in the proper role of government. He just believes the income tax is a scam. And he's right. So what should be his sentence?

[00:49:19] At the most, I'm saying an ankle bracelet. Work from home. Or, you know what? You're on probation, so you've got to check in with a probation officer and you've got to demonstrate that you're not causing any problems. You say, well, no, Sam, this guy's a paper terrorist. He's dangerous. He files all kinds of things on the courts. He's only trying to defend himself from you clowns that have literally taken his house.

[00:49:44] I mean, they literally had the sheriff and crew go to his house with like an MRAP, a battering ram to pound his door down. And he wasn't even there. His wife was there by herself. And all she did was take videos and let it go down. There was no violence of any kind. There was no effort to fight back. And, okay, I'm just telling you, we have got to stop this. Well, President Trump is on the right track. Big time. When he wants to abolish the IRS.

[00:50:14] And we support the official call to end the income tax. Maybe the first POTUS in history to do so. I don't know. You know, Andrew Jackson wanted to abolish the Federal Reserve back in his day. He shut down the bankers back in his day. I don't know if any other president is amused about getting rid of the income tax. But, look, it came as a wartime tax in World War II anyway. It was passed in 1913 with the Federal Reserve. But in World War II, it kind of came on and we're like, hey, we've got to have this tax to pay for the war. And then, of course, the war ended, but the tax never did.

[00:50:43] Shut it down, Donald. What do I need to do to help that happen? The new media taking center stage, we will advocate for you 1,000% on that. All right, there you have it. Speaking of illegal aliens, you know, while we put peaceful Ken Cromar in prison, which is wrong as all get out, free him now, please. Give him a pardon. Do whatever it takes. There's many like that. Steve Stockman and many others, I might add. Anyway, I digress.

[00:51:11] The point is that while that's happening, Tom Holman highlights. You've got Selena Gomez or whatever. This clown lady. And I don't mean to be offensive to her, but look, she's just in tears with all these videos. Oh, my gosh. What are they doing to my people? I don't know who your people are, Gomez. But let me be very clear. You were born in the United States. You're an American. So your people are the American citizens. Unless you're a criminal, your people aren't criminals.

[00:51:39] So I don't know what you mean by your people. Now, if you're talking about race, what, your mom is from Mexico? So you think the Mexicans are your people? The Latinos, whatever. Okay, fine. Then why don't you move to Mexico so you can be with your people? Your people are the peaceful Mexican citizens, if you choose that, or your people are the peaceful American citizens, if you choose that. Your people are not hardened criminals that violate laws. All right?

[00:52:04] Tom Holman, for example, had two blunt questions for Gomez regarding the border crisis. They're fair questions. Listen up. We have a quarter of a million Americans dead from fentanyl coming across our border. Holman stated, where are the tears for those people and their families? It's a great question, Tom. Amen.

[00:52:34] Right? It's a great question. It's a fair question. Then Tom says secondarily this. I met with hundreds of angel mom and dads who are separated from their children. Why? Because they buried their children. Why do they bury their dead children? Because they were killed by illegal alien criminal thugs.

[00:53:03] What about them? Where are the tears for them? What about the half a million children who are sex trafficked and drug trafficked and human trafficked in and out of this country? Put in the hands of criminal cartels. This administration can't even find 300,000 children. Right? Where's the tears for them? Asks Tom Holman. Boy, do I agree with that.

[00:53:32] He says we're going to do this job and we're going to enforce the laws of this country. If they don't like it, then go to Congress and change the law, Holman proclaimed. We're going to make our communities safe. I couldn't agree with Tom more. Right? I love it. I commend Tom Holman.

[00:54:01] He says plus the overdoses of fentanyl is going to drop. Illegal alien crime is going to drop. Sex trafficking of women and children is going to drop. It's a one-time cost and it's worth it for this nation. Boy, do I agree with Tom Holman. Hour one in the can. Hour two coming up. I am Sam Bushman.

[00:54:29] Hard-hitting news the network's views to use as the new media takes center stage. You want to be part of the new media? Caroline Lievitt invites you and so do I. Whitehouse.gov slash new media, baby. It's not baby. Just new media. Slash new media. All right. God save the republic.
