[00:00:00] music
[00:00:13] broadcasting live from atop the rocky mountains
[00:00:16] the crossroads of the west you
[00:00:19] are listening to the Liberty Roundtable Live, ladies and gentlemen, this is the broadcast for February the 22nd, the year of our Lord 2024, hour one of two. Ladies and gentlemen, there has been so many people, celebrities and more that have been suffering, dying and ill for very strange reasons.
[00:01:40] The latest foreigner, founder, Mick Jones,
[00:01:45] revealed in a social media post on Instagram But what it does to the body to the mind oh my heavens anyway our prayers are with Mick Jones and crew But you're listening to the golden voice of Lou Gramm Ladies and gentlemen one of the best rock singers ever to hit the stage. I'm telling you right now just tremendous Tremendous stuff just songs like urgent cold as ice. I want to know what love is. I'm waiting for a girl like you
[00:03:03] Urgent what is it jukebox hero? orchestral type instruments to their music. And so there's all kinds of different versions of their songs that are incredible. So you can get the cold as ice like that, that we just played. That's the official video format kind of a thing, the original song. But man, they do a lot of their songs with different instrumentation. And it really, really changes the feel.
[00:04:20] A couple of years ago, several years ago, I should say now,
[00:04:23] I got either from my birthday or Christmas or Father's Day,
[00:04:25] one of the incredible days,
[00:04:26] I got a four-hourSL, that's the group that deserves the credit on that one. It's just a tragic kind of situation, folks. I don't know how to respond to this. It's down everywhere. Now I've made a few phone calls and stuff like that
[00:05:43] to see who's down and who's not.
[00:05:44] Our dear buddy James Edwards is down.
[00:05:46] He emailed me and said, lot of services that are struggling. You go look at down detector.com and you'll see it's not only the cell phone networks, although that seems to be the heart of it. It's really all kinds of other services too. I mean, Gmail's on there, but my Gmail works. But a bunch, a bunch, a bunch, a bunch of services are on there. And so it's a massive internet outage. It started at about 3.32 this
[00:07:00] morning. It peaked around five or six kind of doesn't care. He's doing it anyway. So the latest one in my headline says, Criminal Joe defies court.
[00:08:23] He unconstitutionally canceled $1.2 billion of student loan debt.
[00:09:23] and student loan debt to 9 million borrowers, that's, you know, you can say that's not that much,
[00:09:26] 138 billion total.
[00:09:27] He wanted more like 400 plus billion.
[00:09:30] He hasn't got it yet, but he's been chipping away at it
[00:09:32] piece by piece.
[00:09:33] And here's my question for the members of Congress,
[00:09:39] specifically the House, because they're the ones
[00:09:41] constitutionally that control the purse strings, right?
[00:09:46] Where is Mike Johnson? You agree or disagree? This is the one and only Liberty Roundtable Live. I am Sam Bushman, back in a flash on your favorite talk station. My name is Christian Knuckles. I prophesy there will be no revival until the church leadership stops lying to the people.
[00:11:05] I'm the first soldier of lies, John 8 44. Here's how the political lying process works. Satan provides the beast with a lie. Then, the more they use the lie, the more they reproduce the lie, the more spiritual power they get. Now look, the media is a lie multiplier. And this multiplication gives more evil spiritual power Ryan Resk, ReskC It's just out of everything else is affected but gold. How does that happen? Well, you figure your manipulation on the paper market is what's driving this. And so they kind of play the game. Plus they've changed the rules just like they've done in so many other things, your workforce numbers and all the other things. They just change it and throw a little blurb in
[00:15:03] there and oh, this is what we did. This is look out. What I find fascinating about this is right now it seems to be good news because there's all kinds of turmoil in the markets, inflation's up, everything's up, but right now, gold and silver hasn't changed too much. You can say, well, Sam, it's two grand, it's close to its high. I understand that, but this quote, high that we're talking about really is the ground floor
[00:16:23] right now, and I don't see it changing anytime soon is the point, Brian.
[00:16:26] Yeah, you're my mind, it's the time to buy silver, people, is what I'm getting at, because you've got the ground floor for gold sitting there. You've got a high ratio between gold and silver, which means silver's way behind. And it's a real opportunity. And especially as the numbers go up, that nickel that you thought was maybe not worth too much pretty soon becomes worth quite a bit,
[00:17:40] or a dime or a quarter or a half dollar,
[00:17:42] or even a silver eagle, silver dollar,
[00:17:44] whatever, pretty soon those are gonna be worth
[00:17:45] a chunk of change.
[00:17:46] Right now is the time to get in. get, you know, slight gold where we can, we can reclaim gold, we can meld it and kind of do more things. Silver, you lose a lot of applications in medical and other things where you don't get it back. So, so yeah, there's, there's definitely potential and it's a great hedge. Protect that paper. All right. This is kind of an interesting little twist. I wonder what it's going to
[00:19:02] look like running up to the election. Do you think we're going to see any kind of
[00:19:04] crazy things happening financially before the break, Ryan, Joe Biden, literally after the Supreme Court
[00:20:22] struck down his plan to cancel billions of dollars
[00:20:26] of student loans, he's done it bit by bit, piece by piece, of government and it seems like the house is just missing in action, Ryan. What is going on? Well put, Sam. I find it very interesting how we have some kind of order in this country, but there's such chaos and those that are supposed to be holding higher positions and yet they don't
[00:22:42] but nobody's like saying this is criminal like I am, but I submit to you, when I claim it's criminal,
[00:22:45] am I going too far?
[00:22:47] I don't think so.
[00:22:48] No, I don't think you're going too far
[00:22:49] and I'd just like to see the other people of our government
[00:22:53] to be responsible for where they're at in their positions.
[00:22:58] We elected them to do their job
[00:22:59] and yet it seems like they're not doing their job.
[00:23:01] They don't care, they just kind of pushing them to the rug.
[00:23:04] He does, and then our president does he get authority to just write these checks or do these things? It
[00:24:23] doesn't make any sense to me. I get it. Former President Trump is disclosing a roster of possible vice presidential candidates during
[00:25:42] a Fox News town hall in South Carolina.
[00:25:45] This week he acknowledged considering South Carolina Senator Tim Scott. US lawmakers Wednesday as part of the GOP-led impeachment inquiry of President Biden in the US House. At the same time, the credibility of the impeachment inquiries being called into question since the arrest of an ex-FBI informant who allegedly made up bribery allegations against the president. This is USA News. The inventor and CEO of MyPillow is always looking for ways to solve everyday problems.

That's the nationaltaxpayersntu.org. Welcome Pete. Great to be here. You're gearing up for CPAC tomorrow aren't you? Or later today? Yes indeed.
[00:31:00] In fact I'll be going over there later today visiting with taxpayer activists from across The problem is Joe is unconstitutionally defying the court and he unconstitutionally just canceled $1.2 billion. Well, the total during his stint in office is he has literally forgave or whatever you want to say it,
[00:32:27] $138 billion in student loan debt to 3.9 million borrowers against the court. responsibility given to the House of Representatives, Pete. We've built the bridge too far now, my friend. Yeah, I think you're right about that. And the fact is we could argue over details such as, well, this isn't necessarily a revenue-raising action, doesn't have to originate in the House, And it's not a partisan discussion. So I avoid the controversies a lot of times with you Pete on purpose because I think it's the right thing to do. In this case, I don't see how you avoid this though. At some point we are obligated to call a halt to the con game at some point. Now that here's the next headline to make the point even worse.
[00:36:21] The Biden administration makes $115 million available for low-income senior housing. to limit the authority of the entire federal government and to define the authority among the branches of Government we are getting so far away from that Constitutional balance that elegant balance that has actually protected taxpayers year after year and we're suffering for it
[00:41:40] Brian rest rest cutting it that commas with me. He's out of their fiscal problems. With that gone, taxpayer, this is a policy I agree with, so the end justifies the means, I guarantee there will be a policy you won't like and you would be hard to argue as others have in various cases over, you know, the Mallorca's not doing his job on the border. I mean, this is a fundamental responsibility, a legal responsibility no respect for separation of powers, for the fact that you cannot keep spending out of an empty pocket, well, anything goes, and then unfortunately, everything will fall. Brian, that doesn't sound good to me, buddy.
[00:41:44] Well, it doesn't.
[00:41:45] And you know, at my going to be the vicious circle that we had always warned about? You borrow more, it gets costlier to borrow, so you have to borrow more. And sooner or later, it all comes crashing down. I don't know if this is going to happen
[00:43:00] to a future generation, it might actually happen to ours.
[00:44:02] I believe I'm pronouncing that correctly, and I'm paraphrasing that our systems of government,
[00:44:06] representative government can only survive
[00:44:10] until people realize they can vote themselves money
[00:44:14] out of the treasury.
[00:44:15] And I apologize for his two historians out there
[00:44:19] who know the exact quote, but that was the gist of it.
[00:44:23] Yeah, the word largesc was in that quote, right, Pete?
[00:44:27] I believe so, yes. illegals to the country under the Biden administration that's an amount greater than the populations of 36 of the states Pete this isn't gonna be a free right either someone's gonna pay that bill right yeah and there are fiscal consequences really on both sides of the ledger, no worries, we'll back that by the taxpayers of this city and the state of California. And those kinds of promises have squeezed out virtually every other item that local governments it's also been heavily dependent on wealthier taxpayers. That's why they have such huge rates of tax on the upper end of the scale and they depend a lot on capital gains tax revenue from
[00:48:21] investments. Well, the problem is wealthier taxpayers are also among the most mobile
[00:49:21] Okay. Today there's 11 state workers for every 1000.
[00:49:26] So the bottom line is, is just all those state workers, what, get the special privilege?
[00:49:31] Anyway, they say budget deficits worse than anticipated.
[00:49:35] In fact, much worse, Pete.
[00:49:37] Yeah.
[00:49:38] Well, we could have told them that.
[00:49:41] Not just my organization, but a lot of. This does not bode well, Pete. Well, and I'm afraid New York has already dug itself into this hole with their tax collectors. They are known to be some of the most overzealous in the entire country
[00:51:02] among states. Maybe California's franchise tax board would equal what the New York folks do. And They're violating due process in this thing to where all these business owners are saying man. We are out Yes, I look at it as such a double standard and and and reality says that it's chaotic now because they don't want to see him on the ballot and so they're gonna make life very tough for
[00:52:20] him and
[00:52:22] That's that's kind of what what's happening, but I you know
[00:53:23] this year. That isn't going to go well in the inflationary based situation we find ourselves either. Last point, Pete. Yeah, certainly not. It's unfortunate. I've always told folks,
[00:53:31] never ever plan your taxes to get a big refund. You're just giving the government an interest
[00:53:36] free loan and given the fact that the government likes to give away money, I'm not sure they'll
[00:53:41] necessarily be good for that refund in the years to come. So keep your withholding well adjusted,
