[00:00:14] From atop the Rocky Mountains, the crossroads of the West, you are listening to the Liberty Roundtable Radio Talk Show.
[00:00:24] All right. Happy to have you along, my fellow Americans. Sam Bushman live on your radio.
[00:00:29] Hard-hitting news that I refuse to use, no doubt, starts now.
[00:00:33] This is the broadcast for November the 4th in the year of our Lord, 2024.
[00:00:39] This is Hour 1 of 2 and the goal always to protect life, liberty, and property, to promote God, family, and country.
[00:00:45] To do so on your radio and the traditions of our founding fathers.
[00:00:48] Yeah, we reject revolution unless it's a Jesus revolution.
[00:00:51] Then we're in because we follow the Prince of Peace.
[00:00:53] The checks and balances brilliantly put in place by the founding fathers using the supreme law of the land,
[00:00:57] the constitution, the peaceful solution at our fingertips, folks.
[00:01:00] Remember that.
[00:01:01] You know, there's so much to talk about. There's so little time.
[00:01:04] So let's just dig right in.
[00:01:06] Dr. Scott Bradley will be with me first hour.
[00:01:07] Lul Nelson will be with me second hour.
[00:01:09] So there you have that.
[00:01:11] Liberty News Radio and the Big MIG Rumble channel present what we're calling Liberty Roundtable 2024.
[00:01:20] We're calling it Election Roundtable 2024.
[00:01:25] And it's going to be available at libertynewsradio.com on the radio side of things
[00:01:29] and on the Big MIG channel on Rumble on the video side of things.
[00:01:32] And, man, we've got a bunch of people that are going to be participating in it.
[00:01:35] It's going to be phenomenal.
[00:01:40] I'm going to be a bunch of people that are going to be participating in it.
[00:01:41] We're going to be the key folks running the event.
[00:01:45] And then we've got all kinds of people checking in all night long from all kinds of strange headquarters, too, I might add.
[00:01:51] Republican and Democrat headquarters all over the country and everything else.
[00:01:54] We've got a bunch of states represented.
[00:01:55] It's going to be just really hardcore telling you what's going on in the elections, breaking it down.
[00:02:01] Everybody's going to be watching the results and chiming in.
[00:02:04] A bunch of talk show hosts will be joining us.
[00:02:06] It's just going to be a great time.
[00:02:08] Tomorrow night, it's going to be 5 to 10 p.m.
[00:02:11] Mountain Time, 7 p.m.
[00:02:13] to noon Eastern.
[00:02:14] Right when the polls close, we're on the air.
[00:02:17] We're going to break it all down for you.
[00:02:18] They're already trying to tell you that we probably won't even know the answer of who's president by the end of the night.
[00:02:24] They're setting us up for fraud.
[00:02:26] Back in the old days, they could tell you every time by the end of the night who the winner was.
[00:02:31] Now they claim, oh, we can't do it without computers.
[00:02:33] It's not fast enough.
[00:02:34] But with computers, it's slow.
[00:02:36] Oh, well, that's because we don't all vote on the same day, Sam.
[00:02:39] It's because of early voting.
[00:02:40] My response is, why does it matter how early you vote or how late you vote on the results?
[00:02:46] Oh, because, Sam, we take ballots from months early, and we might even take ballots like three, four, five, who knows how many days late.
[00:02:56] Well, no doubt, you're creating a crisis intentionally, ladies and gentlemen, and that is the problem.
[00:03:00] But we will break it all down just for you.
[00:03:03] So tomorrow night, check that out.
[00:03:05] All right, the sad reality is that over 75 million people, you heard me, over 75 million people have already cast early ballots,
[00:03:14] according to the New York Times.
[00:03:16] That alone is the point.
[00:03:18] Who's got the custody of all those ballots that have been sitting around for days and weeks and months?
[00:03:24] So you shouldn't have that huge time frame by which shenanigans can occur.
[00:03:31] If everybody voted tomorrow like the good Lord intended, you wouldn't have a whole lot of time to cheat in advance,
[00:03:36] a whole lot of time to have custody of ballot problems and everything else.
[00:03:40] I bring this up, and they just say, oh, Sam, you're a conspiracy nut.
[00:03:43] You're a cook.
[00:03:43] No, think about it logically for a minute.
[00:03:45] If you don't have any time ahead of time except for, hey, we all voted and then same day you count the ballots,
[00:03:50] there's not a lot of time to cheat ahead of time or manipulate things,
[00:03:52] or even not intentionally but maybe have custody of ballots go awry.
[00:03:57] But if you all vote early, days, weeks, months in advance, isn't there a big window by which all kinds of things can go wrong?
[00:04:06] See how intelligent that is?
[00:04:08] Wow.
[00:04:09] Anyway, there you have that.
[00:04:10] Thought I'd bring that to your attention.
[00:04:12] Now, before the end of the broadcast on Friday, Dr. Scott Bradley brilliantly brought up the importance of prayer in our nation.
[00:04:22] And he said, you know, Sam, Washington's not going to fix things.
[00:04:25] This isn't going to be resolved in other places.
[00:04:28] Really, what you've got to do is turn to your God in prayer.
[00:04:31] And boy, howdy, is he spot on.
[00:04:33] And so I mentioned, I don't know if I mentioned it on the radio or right after we got off, but I said, you know what?
[00:04:38] That's so critical.
[00:04:39] I'm writing this down.
[00:04:40] I'm going to remember this.
[00:04:41] And we're going to talk about that on Monday, first thing.
[00:04:43] We're going to get straight to it.
[00:04:45] And that's what we're going to do.
[00:04:47] Over the weekend, believe it or not, I got an email or a notification about an article written in the Washington Times,
[00:04:56] WashingtonTimes.com, that really doubled down in support of Dr. Bradley's brilliant point.
[00:05:02] Dr. David Jeremiah is his name.
[00:05:05] And he says he had a prayer for America.
[00:05:09] They call it the world amidst chaos.
[00:05:13] Washington Times.
[00:05:14] I'm really surprised Washington Times was willing to print it, first of all.
[00:05:19] But I'm proud of them.
[00:05:21] Good for them.
[00:05:21] I'm also proud of Dr. David Jeremiah for uttering this prayer.
[00:05:26] He's like-minded for sure.
[00:05:27] But I want to really focus on Dr. Bradley's comments because, you know what?
[00:05:31] Bright minds think alike.
[00:05:32] Christians who know to turn to God and realize where liberty's origins are and how to protect our liberties,
[00:05:39] they all know to turn to God.
[00:05:40] The founding fathers did that.
[00:05:42] You know, they talked about, hey, you know, you can't even have a bird without God's notice.
[00:05:49] What about a nation rising?
[00:05:50] Right?
[00:05:50] Same scenario here.
[00:05:52] We need to understand.
[00:05:53] So, you know what?
[00:05:54] Everybody wants to look at Tuesday tomorrow night and go, yeah, let's see who's going to win.
[00:05:57] Man, if it's Kamala, it's going to be curtains for the country.
[00:06:00] If it's Donald, it's going to be awesome.
[00:06:02] We're going to restore America again.
[00:06:04] I don't believe it, folks.
[00:06:05] That's a lie straight from the pit of hell.
[00:06:07] If we turn to God Almighty, we can save our country.
[00:06:10] And if we don't, we're doomed.
[00:06:11] That's the truth of the matter.
[00:06:13] Dr. Bradley, welcome, sir.
[00:06:16] Well, thank you, Sam.
[00:06:18] It's, you know, a momentous day for the election.
[00:06:22] But as you point out, there's a lot more moving parts on this thing.
[00:06:27] You mentioned the early voting and all of the hazards that are associated with that.
[00:06:32] You know, if you talk about your 70-something million already voted, that's half the people in the country.
[00:06:38] And I don't know if you remember, you saw this here recently.
[00:06:42] Up in the Pacific Northwest, they had a dumpster fire.
[00:06:47] I call it that.
[00:06:48] But it really was a ballot drop-off place that somebody, I don't know if they dumped gas on it, started on fire or what.
[00:06:55] No, they had some electronic incendiary devices planted in the boxes, from what we understand, sir.
[00:07:00] Yeah, if you can imagine that.
[00:07:02] There are people, nefarious people, that are trying at all times to disrupt as much as they can.
[00:07:08] You know, the Marxist philosophy has been implemented all over the world based upon disruption.
[00:07:13] You know, the fragmentation, you know, where people, you know, turn against each other.
[00:07:20] Very natural relationships are turned unnatural.
[00:07:23] And, you know, whether it's husband and wife, whether it's labor and management.
[00:07:27] You know, you think about how they just try to put all the fracture lines in.
[00:07:32] And this balloting thing, Utah, in Utah where we live, they vote by mail.
[00:07:42] I mean, it just says that on the little envelope you get when you get your ballot.
[00:07:47] And it says, Utah votes by mail.
[00:07:50] Bravo, Sierra.
[00:07:51] I don't.
[00:07:52] Well, yeah, I know.
[00:07:53] You can go.
[00:07:53] You can still go down tomorrow.
[00:07:54] I vote in person the same day every time, my friend.
[00:07:57] That's right.
[00:07:57] But you know what?
[00:07:58] You're one of a million.
[00:07:59] I mean, I'm sorry, Sam.
[00:08:00] No, I'm not.
[00:08:01] I'm not sorry.
[00:08:02] But I'm telling you, most people go for the quote-unquote convenience.
[00:08:08] Utah was an early adopter.
[00:08:10] I think that was influenced largely by some of the Mitt Romney involvement in some of the machines and so on and so forth.
[00:08:16] Mitt Romney was perceived by the establishment here to walk on water.
[00:08:20] And, of course, everybody that's watched anything he's done has recognized it hasn't been quite so glorious.
[00:08:25] But, anyway, Utah was an early adopter of this thing.
[00:08:31] And Utah is at the very forefront of some of the worst scandals that you can have on elections.
[00:08:40] And it just isn't happening, you know, in Georgia or someplace back east.
[00:08:45] It's a long ways away.
[00:08:47] No, it's happening in our own backyard.
[00:08:50] And Utah is probably among the worst in the nation for a lot of reasons in terms of our politics.
[00:08:57] But everybody says, oh, no, they're the reddest of the red states.
[00:09:01] Hmm.
[00:09:01] Well, the reds cheat as much as the blues in a lot of instances.
[00:09:06] And it's for the same nefarious purposes.
[00:09:10] It's power.
[00:09:11] And the American Founding Fathers did what they did with the Constitution.
[00:09:16] They divided and subdivided power, not only between the different officeholders,
[00:09:21] but between the sources of power that were granted power, if you will, to those sources.
[00:09:27] The people had the voice in the House.
[00:09:29] The states had the voice in the Senate.
[00:09:30] There was a single-purpose legislature that was created, the Electoral College.
[00:09:36] I mean, it's so amazing.
[00:09:39] But there's been this, you know, a couple hundred years of unraveling.
[00:09:43] And, man, most people don't even understand the basis of any of these things anymore.
[00:09:48] So, yeah, power is being abused.
[00:09:52] Daniel Defoe said in the early 1700s, all men would be tyrants if they could.
[00:09:57] And Lord Acton said, power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely.
[00:10:05] Absolute, you know.
[00:10:07] We just don't seem to understand.
[00:10:09] That was the whole basis of our Constitution to prevent the accrual and abuse of power.
[00:10:15] But we've allowed, and these computer things are just one more little aspect of how power has been usurped and somehow corrupted
[00:10:26] to make it so it's more, an election's more easily stolen, you know.
[00:10:31] So, yeah, absolutely.
[00:10:33] We're in deep trouble right now for a lot of reasons.
[00:10:36] We need Heaven's intervention.
[00:10:39] And this guy, I don't know if you want to introduce me.
[00:10:42] All right, go ahead and skip the break, ladies and gentlemen.
[00:10:45] This is too good.
[00:10:47] So, yeah, prayer is really vital.
[00:10:48] And, you know, you can vote, and I really encourage people to vote.
[00:10:51] Okay, I don't think not voting is a good idea.
[00:10:55] I'm going to have to write in somebody for president because I don't believe there's anybody that I can vote for.
[00:10:58] So I'm going to write in Dr. Scott Bradley for president of the United States.
[00:11:04] That's just what I'm going to do.
[00:11:06] I'm going to write in Phil Lyman for governor.
[00:11:08] So, see, that's the problem is I've never before been in a position, doctor,
[00:11:12] that I cannot even find a person to vote for, for president or governor, that I believe is honest.
[00:11:18] Well, I've been down that path a lot.
[00:11:20] Now I'm forced to – in the past I've been able to write in at least like a Chuck Baldwin
[00:11:25] or, you know, Michael Peruca or, you know, some of these different people that I felt like,
[00:11:31] hey, they might not win, but they're good, honest people I can at least vote for.
[00:11:33] When you and Daryl Castle ran, I felt like I could vote for you guys.
[00:11:38] There's been certain races where I haven't.
[00:11:40] But I'm just talking about president and governor.
[00:11:42] Right now, there's nobody – unless I write in, there's nobody I can vote for for either of them.
[00:11:47] Well, and the guy that's on the ballot in Utah shouldn't be there apparently from so many of the –
[00:11:52] And the guy that isn't that you've got to write in should be there.
[00:11:55] Yeah, that's right.
[00:11:56] And the guy that –
[00:11:56] And then we say election fraud and then they say, oh, no, how dare you say that?
[00:12:01] Yeah.
[00:12:02] But it's just, you know –
[00:12:03] And the guys that legislatively created this mess in Utah are still in office, by the way.
[00:12:09] And they're going to remain in office because most people don't even realize.
[00:12:12] It didn't turn out quite the way we were hoping.
[00:12:15] You know, I mean, come on.
[00:12:17] Give us more authority and power.
[00:12:18] There's always a line in a – what's that again?
[00:12:21] Give us more authority and power than the courts say no.
[00:12:25] Well, there's just – this whole nonsense of the way they've done it in Utah is a corruption of republicanism, not the parties.
[00:12:32] That's right.
[00:12:33] That's right.
[00:12:34] And that's why it's deep state against the rest of us.
[00:12:36] But anyway, I digress, except the reason I'm bringing this all up is really, you know what, folks?
[00:12:40] We have got to turn to God Almighty.
[00:12:42] Of all the things you can do – I mean, voting is important.
[00:12:44] Don't get me wrong.
[00:12:44] I really think we should be involved, educating yourself, sharing with your neighbors and friends and loved ones, standing for what's right is good.
[00:12:51] But as Dr. David – Jeremiah.
[00:12:57] Jeremiah says, you know, hey, it's one thing to stand up.
[00:13:01] That's good.
[00:13:01] But you've got to be on your knees before God Almighty.
[00:13:03] And I agree, if we're going to bring back liberty, it's going to start with individuals humbly repenting before God, leading their families to do the same.
[00:13:12] You know, society will never be stronger than the family.
[00:13:15] So I really resonate with what you said before the end of the last show on Friday is, hey, we've got to pray.
[00:13:23] Dr. Jeremiah, though, put together a pretty good piece in my mind in the Washington Times, doctor.
[00:13:29] You know, just to clarify, you know, there's a Washington Post and there's a Washington Times.
[00:13:34] The people at the Times, in my opinion, are much more principles-based.
[00:13:38] No question.
[00:13:39] This is proof of it.
[00:13:40] Yeah.
[00:13:41] They're not nearly as big.
[00:13:43] They don't have as big a footprint and as big a voice and all that kind of stuff.
[00:13:46] But they do have some interesting pieces that they write that oftentimes are pretty soundly founded, unlike what you see in the Washington Post.
[00:13:55] So, at any rate, do you want me to just read this over, Sam?
[00:13:58] I mean, I don't know.
[00:13:59] Yeah, before we do the prayer, just talk about what he kind of brings up, the turmoil in the earth.
[00:14:02] So the article basically talks about his prayer for America amidst all the chaos.
[00:14:07] And he kind of highlights the problems, but then he gets to the solution and offers a great prayer.
[00:14:12] He does, but I don't want to be critical of it.
[00:14:16] But in a way, there's a kind of a, how shall I say, a rapture kind of theme in this a little bit, because we got some times that are going to be trying ahead.
[00:14:29] I mean, and this, I don't know, paradisical glory that he's looking forward to, I believe is a bit down the road.
[00:14:39] And we can be assured that God will unequivocally restore everything that he has in his heart for his children.
[00:14:48] But I really, truly believe that between now and then, we are going to have to be very, very diligent and devoted to our own personal efforts.
[00:14:59] It's not going to be a presto changer, wave a magic wand, and you're all twinkled in an eye to this is the way it is.
[00:15:06] Now, there may come a point when that happens.
[00:15:09] But right now, we do have war.
[00:15:11] We do have pain.
[00:15:12] We do have sickness.
[00:15:13] There's people right now that are suffering stuff that, I mean, I can't even hardly imagine because they took the jab.
[00:15:21] I mean, that's not going to be twinkled away.
[00:15:23] I mean, it's something that we're still going to have to live with.
[00:15:26] And this Edenic, you know, kind of Garden of Eden kind of thing that he prays for, I pray for that too.
[00:15:33] But I recognize, well, maybe I'm not the wisest or the brightest or whatever,
[00:15:38] but I'm absolutely convinced that we as a people have a duty to perform before God and to our fellow man.
[00:15:45] And we've got to exercise devoted, faithful efforts, you know, in trying to choose good and wise and honorable individuals to be in office.
[00:15:56] We haven't done that for a long time.
[00:15:57] We just haven't.
[00:15:59] I mean, there's some rare, rare exceptions.
[00:16:01] And I just did a review last night kind of late on some of that stuff.
[00:16:06] And I thought, you know what, there are some people that are really trying.
[00:16:09] I mean, and sometimes I might sound rather harsh as we visit on the radio about, you know, everybody's a buffoon.
[00:16:18] And that's a pretty broad brush I'm painting with, and I'm wrong in doing that.
[00:16:23] But the broadest of brushes are doing that, and we are remiss in choosing them as our trusted representatives.
[00:16:33] But this David Jeremiah, he's people of all faiths.
[00:16:38] He's a Christian.
[00:16:40] He's the founder of Turning Point.
[00:16:43] It's a little blurb on him.
[00:16:45] He says,
[00:16:45] He's an international ministry committed to providing Christians with sound Bible teachings through radio and television,
[00:16:51] internet, live events, resource materials, and books.
[00:16:54] He's authored more than 50 books.
[00:16:56] So, I mean, you know what?
[00:16:59] He's a prolific writer.
[00:17:01] Maybe he has some people helping him type.
[00:17:03] I type with three fingers when I type a book, and so I'm a little bit clumsy.
[00:17:07] But at any rate, he's out of California.
[00:17:09] They have four kids and 12 grandkids.
[00:17:12] And while his faith may be different than yours, may not be the same brand your pastor may be preaching on Sunday,
[00:17:22] I think people of all faiths have got to join in supplicating our God.
[00:17:27] The Founding Fathers had a broad spectrum of Christian beliefs.
[00:17:33] And this is where I would agree with you 100%, Dr. Bradley,
[00:17:36] that this rapture idea that just put your trust in God and boom, poof, he'll take care of it.
[00:17:41] And, you know, not focusing on our own responsibilities or our own involvement, I think, is overlooking something critical.
[00:17:47] I agree with you.
[00:17:48] But I will also say this, though.
[00:17:49] At least the Washington Times is willing to print this.
[00:17:52] And at least a leader of a very conservative Christian church is boldly speaking out, providing in my mind the solution.
[00:18:01] And if we all pray in our own ways or we pray slightly different or we have different focuses on our theological doctrine, that's fine.
[00:18:08] But I'm just commending these guys for, you know what, Dr. Bradley makes a point,
[00:18:11] and there's another pastor out there that doesn't even have the same religion as Dr. Bradley,
[00:18:16] virtually preaching the same thing and making the same points, right?
[00:18:19] Absolutely.
[00:18:20] And that's noteworthy in my mind.
[00:18:22] Yeah.
[00:18:23] Joining our faith together, and I'm absolutely convinced, of course, one person with God against the rest of the world is pretty powerful.
[00:18:32] powerful.
[00:18:33] And so, you know, if we, you know, we might feel like we're kind of, how shall we say, the Lone Ranger a little bit sometimes
[00:18:41] because of the way the major media does things, these traditional media sources, politicians.
[00:18:48] When you get a Kamala Harris that, you know, in a rally somebody cries out in regards to the Lord and she says,
[00:18:56] hey, you're in the wrong rally, you know.
[00:18:57] I mean, come on, people.
[00:18:59] Yeah, get out of here.
[00:19:00] Understand, you know.
[00:19:01] It's tragic.
[00:19:02] And when J.D. Vance doubles down and says, yes, Christ is king.
[00:19:06] Yeah.
[00:19:06] That tells you a lot.
[00:19:07] You know, and I'm not a super fan of J.D. Vance, but he's spot on on that one.
[00:19:13] He's offered some intelligent, quick-witted responses to things that he mingles with a little bit of a smile on his face and humor.
[00:19:21] You know, the medicine goes down with a little bit more sugar or honey or something like that.
[00:19:25] But honestly, Kamala's just kind of, shall we say, crude oftentimes and rough around the edges.
[00:19:33] You heard her on-air, open mic kind of thing when her and one of her buddies were sitting there having a drink or something like that.
[00:19:43] Yeah, she's like, I sure hope all my F-bombs aren't out there to everybody.
[00:19:46] Yeah, they are.
[00:19:47] Profane people.
[00:19:48] There you go, Kamala.
[00:19:49] Profane people.
[00:19:50] And Joe Biden, that guy, I hate to denigrate any occupation or industry, but he was pretty rough around the edges when it came to having any sensitivity to things of worth.
[00:20:10] And I think that that has shown in everything he's done.
[00:20:14] He's been off base, in my opinion, his entire career, 50 years in government.
[00:20:19] I mean, he and Orrin Hatch combined to put the Violence Against Women's Act together.
[00:20:25] You know, everybody should be against violence against women.
[00:20:28] But to tell you the truth, it's not a federal offense.
[00:20:30] They overstepped their bounds in every way, shape, and form.
[00:20:33] At the same time, Joe was apparently, based on reports, assaulting one of his staffers in the hallways of the Senate office building.
[00:20:42] I mean, come on, people.
[00:20:43] Do we have any clue at all that sometimes this persona that they try and come across with?
[00:20:51] I'll just give you an example.
[00:20:53] I knew some of the White House staff people when George Bush was in.
[00:21:02] And they were pretty buttoned-down people, according to—well, the staffers obviously were.
[00:21:07] They took their jobs very seriously.
[00:21:09] They were career people in the White House.
[00:21:12] And they had discretion in the way they talked.
[00:21:16] They weren't loose-lipped sink ships kind of thing.
[00:21:18] But comparing the George—either Bushes compared to the Clinton or the Obama or the Biden, I haven't known them in later years.
[00:21:33] But they felt safe, if you will, in the Bush years in the White House from sexual assault by predators even.
[00:21:45] I mean, it was pretty crude it got in some of those administrations.
[00:21:51] And it really was kind of a frat house concept with some of the ways things were run.
[00:21:59] And it changes administration to administration.
[00:22:02] We rarely do have people in office nowadays that have a baseline about their moral behavior.
[00:22:10] It's just tragic, absolutely tragic.
[00:22:13] And far cry from what things were in the beginning of this nation where religiosity was much more preeminent in the hearts of the people.
[00:22:23] So I feel really sadly that we have been—we have disrespected our nation and ourselves so much
[00:22:33] that we put so many of these people in office that are unworthy of any trust at all.
[00:22:40] So, you know, yeah, this prayer, I mean, it's a hopeful prayer.
[00:22:46] And it will come to this, I think, although not today.
[00:22:50] I don't believe that today we're going to see war giveaways to lasting peace and pain and suffering going away
[00:22:56] and the Edenic, you know, glorious Garden of Eden kind of thing on the earth.
[00:23:03] So that's in the future.
[00:23:05] Yeah.
[00:23:06] He starts out, though, and he talks about our world today is chaotic.
[00:23:11] Yes.
[00:23:12] War in the Middle East.
[00:23:13] War in the Ukraine.
[00:23:15] 110-plus military conflicts around the world.
[00:23:19] Frequent national disasters.
[00:23:22] Inflation.
[00:23:23] Poverty.
[00:23:25] A daunting election season.
[00:23:27] But people want to believe that brighter days are ahead.
[00:23:32] We all long for lasting peace and harmony, health and stability.
[00:23:38] See, I agree with all that.
[00:23:40] And then he talks about ecclesiastics, and he says, you know what?
[00:23:43] In their hearts, they want peace.
[00:23:46] We want to transform our lives.
[00:23:48] We want a glorious tomorrow.
[00:23:49] We want these things.
[00:23:51] But it doesn't just happen, folks, is the point.
[00:23:54] We've got to turn to God and make it happen.
[00:23:57] God wants to give us these blessings, but he doesn't give us these blessings if we don't do what he asks us to do, right?
[00:24:05] Anyway, we'll come back and talk about his prayer in detail.
[00:24:08] In fact, I want Dr. Bradley to read the whole prayer because I think it's a very good prayer.
[00:24:11] And I really think we, the people, whether we agree or disagree on any topic, need to turn to God with a repentant and a grateful attitude.
[00:24:20] The more gratitude we have, the more repentant view we have, the more likely God will see fit to protect us and heal our land.
[00:24:31] We'll talk about it with Dr. Scott Bradley in seconds on your radio.

[00:26:04] A poorly maintained and overcrowded bus has veered off the road and plunged into a deep gorge in northern India, killing at least 36 people and injuring several others.
[00:26:13] The bus was carrying around 60 people and more than 20 have been injured, according to authorities.
[00:26:18] A preliminary investigation suggested that the bus, which was reportedly in a dilapidated condition, skidded before tumbling down a 200-foot deep gorge in India's Almora district.
[00:26:29] A number of passengers managed to escape, all thrown out by the impact, and then alerted authorities about the accident.

[00:27:09] With inflation continuing to cool, the Fed is set to cut interest rates for a second time this year.
[00:27:14] On Thursday, the Fed's policymakers are on track to cut their benchmark rate by a quarter point to about 4.6 percent after having implemented a half-point reduction in September.
[00:27:25] The Fed's future actions, though, will become more unsettled once a new president and Congress take office in January.

[00:29:00] As you all know, Roe vs. Wade has resulted in some of the most permissive abortion laws anywhere in the world.
[00:29:09] For example, in the United States, it's one of only seven countries to allow elective late-term abortions along with China, North Korea, and others.
[00:29:21] Right now, in a number of states, the laws allow a baby to be born from his or her mother's womb in the ninth month.
[00:29:32] It is wrong.
[00:29:33] It has to change.
[00:29:36] Americans are more and more pro-life.

[00:29:59] The Rocky Mountains, the crossroads of the West.
[00:30:18] You are listening to the Liberty Roundtable Radio Talk Show.
[00:30:24] This morning in the first segment, we've been talking about the hope for divine intervention on behalf of restoring the great, wonderful principles God originally ordained for all of his children.
[00:30:41] And particularly in this land, as a promised land.
[00:30:43] And how far we've strayed.
[00:30:45] I mean, you know, the scriptures speak of wars and rumors of wars and the end times and all sorts of tumultuous things in nature and everything like that.
[00:30:54] And we certainly have that.
[00:30:56] Diseases that we create ourselves even.
[00:30:59] And our profligate ways destroy the moral basis of everything we cherish in this land.
[00:31:06] And really, as God's children, we should cherish all across in every land.
[00:31:12] But at any rate, we've been talking about our desire to have a restoration.
[00:31:18] And certainly we all have that.
[00:31:20] I think that we need to understand, though, that we have a duty.
[00:31:25] John Quincy Adams used to sign off on all his letters, the duty is ours, the results are God's.
[00:31:31] He was an abolitionist.
[00:31:33] He wanted to get rid of slavery.
[00:31:34] And he spent a lot of time focused on that.
[00:31:36] And it seemed like an impossible dream to be able to get rid of slavery.
[00:31:40] But he always signed off his letters, the duty is ours, the results are God's.
[00:31:44] So I think that we need to say we have a duty in this thing all right also.
[00:31:49] But this individual, this David Jeremiah, that's a Christian that has online kinds of church offerings,
[00:32:00] has a very thought-provoking prayer that he offers.
[00:32:05] And so maybe I could read what it is.
[00:32:08] It's not very long.
[00:32:08] It's fairly brief.
[00:32:10] But it's food for thought, certainly.
[00:32:12] And then our duty before God certainly ought to be forefront in our minds, too, as we seek to bring this about.
[00:32:19] So here's what he wrote.
[00:32:22] Almighty God, our Heavenly Father,
[00:32:25] You tell us that if we will humble ourselves and pray and seek your face,
[00:32:30] then you will hear from heaven and forgive our sin and will heal our land.
[00:32:35] Lord, the world has fallen into darkness, disobedience, and indifference.
[00:32:40] We have sinned, and the world suffers.
[00:32:43] But we know brighter days are ahead.
[00:32:46] I pray for our world today that hearts would turn to you and be filled with the hope of the coming golden age.
[00:32:53] May we rejoice in the knowledge of your coming earthly reign, when war will give way to lasting peace.
[00:33:00] Pain, sickness, and death will be no more.
[00:33:03] The earth will be restored to Edenic geography.
[00:33:07] Justice and mercy will be experienced by all.
[00:33:10] Satan's influence will be gone.
[00:33:13] Music will fill the air, and everyone will know you.
[00:33:18] We have planned, you have planned, for the world since its creation.
[00:33:23] And I ask you to keep us in your loving care until that day.
[00:33:27] Watch over the nations as a good shepherd watches over his flock.
[00:33:31] And may we find ultimate safety and security in you, and may your peace fill hearts everywhere.
[00:33:39] May we each be a light for the world, shining brightly at home and abroad,
[00:33:43] as we communicate with one another every day as never before.
[00:33:48] For we know that brighter days are ahead, and we wait patiently for your return.
[00:33:54] We pray this in Jesus' name. Amen.
[00:33:56] Amen.
[00:33:57] Thus wrote Dr. David Jeremiah and his offering of a prayer at this critical time,
[00:34:04] not just an election, but goodness knows, after the election day is over,
[00:34:09] regardless of how it turns out, it's not going to be presto chango and everything's good,
[00:34:15] regardless of whether or not you think.
[00:34:16] Well, and I believe this prayer will do ten times more than even the election will do
[00:34:19] to restore the country.
[00:34:20] If enough people decide to join and let God know we're serious about that.
[00:34:23] But now he, when I went to look this up, because I was hoping that I could get the prayer in Dr.
[00:34:29] Jeremiah's own words, and I would just, you know, play the prayer in his own words.
[00:34:32] The problem is, when I look in the Washington Times, I get that prayer in that article.
[00:34:40] When I go to David's website himself, he has a much longer, different prayer.
[00:34:46] And so I don't really know, but he's issued several prayers before the nation over the last many years.
[00:34:53] He's been around for a long time, and it got me really thinking.
[00:34:56] I presented a little, I don't know what you want to call it, a little lesson on bringing people to Christ yesterday
[00:35:04] and stuff like that.
[00:35:05] You know, I tend to do church things on Sunday, you know.
[00:35:08] And anyway, and I got talking about the two great commandments, Dr. Bradley, and I just, the contrast is just so startling.
[00:35:15] I look at government, how many laws and rules there are from the world, whatever, to the federal government,
[00:35:22] to the states, to the counties, to the cities.
[00:35:26] And there's literally just gazillions of commandments and rules and guidelines.
[00:35:31] And, you know, when Jesus was asked for one of the two great commandments, he said,
[00:35:35] Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, mind, and strength, and love thy neighbor as thyself.
[00:35:41] And, you know, on those two commandments hangeth the law and the prophets.
[00:35:46] If you really love God and love your neighbor, I mean, what commandment would you break?
[00:35:50] The other ten just fall into place, right?
[00:35:53] I mean, you wouldn't steal from people.
[00:35:54] You wouldn't commit adultery.
[00:35:56] You wouldn't covet.
[00:35:57] You wouldn't lie.
[00:35:58] You wouldn't cheat.
[00:35:59] You wouldn't, you know, you wouldn't kill.
[00:36:04] You'd keep the Sabbath day holy.
[00:36:05] You know, it's just tremendous.
[00:36:07] So the world has just thousands of rules, and they almost think, you know, every day we've just got to make more rules.
[00:36:13] I mean, even in Utah alone, every legislative session has, like, a thousand bills or something that you put up every single year.
[00:36:19] And then, hey, 500 or so of them get passed into law or whatever.
[00:36:22] I mean, every single year.
[00:36:23] That's just one state, a tiny state, comparatively speaking, as well.
[00:36:27] And you just think of the myriad of, and God says, hey, two great commandments and then ten follow-up commandments.
[00:36:32] You've got 12 guidelines.
[00:36:33] And really, if you obey the first two, the other ten are, like, obvious.
[00:36:37] They just kind of specify in detail.
[00:36:39] But, I mean, if you keep the first two commandments, I mean, you can't break into the ten commandments and be keeping the first two.
[00:36:44] So he manages to just lay this out.
[00:36:46] God's way is always better than our way, Dr. Bradley is the point.
[00:36:50] And so this prayer idea that you're having and that David, Dr. David has and that I'm focusing on, that is the solution.
[00:36:58] What if everybody just loved the Lord their God and loved their neighbors thyself and forget the theological differences for a minute?
[00:37:05] What if we did that?
[00:37:07] Well, I think it would be a grand and glorious, you know, beginning.
[00:37:12] But as a cautionary note, not just cautionary, but here's how it's spun.
[00:37:17] Love God, love your fellow man.
[00:37:19] Oh, do it for the children.
[00:37:21] Oh, your fellow man is hungry, so we're going to take it from you and give it to them.
[00:37:26] Oh, we've got to have our way of government someplace.
[00:37:30] And for the good of the people in this other country, we're going to convert them by the sword.
[00:37:33] I mean, you can kind of see how these really sweet, gentle nudgings of God are perversely taken.
[00:37:43] And you point out, well, the Eighth Commandment, thou shall not steal.
[00:37:47] Well, socialism is based upon theft, you know, a redistribution of wealth from each according to his ability, to each according to his need.
[00:37:55] Marxist philosophy, if you will.
[00:37:57] So what's happened is that so many of these people that say, oh, I'm a good Christian, so I'm going to say that what we ought to do is set up a program so there's no poor in the world by taking from the people that have.
[00:38:13] Yeah, it's like forcing Christianity.
[00:38:14] Satan's plan on Christianity.
[00:38:16] It's a counterfeit.
[00:38:17] But so lest we recognize these things are free will offerings.
[00:38:22] If government takes by force, it is not a free will offering.
[00:38:27] And government takes everything by force.
[00:38:29] There is nothing.
[00:38:30] Well, you know, there may be some place you can donate your tax return or something.
[00:38:35] I don't know.
[00:38:36] But the fact of the matter is that the government is force.
[00:38:40] It's not eloquence.
[00:38:41] It's not reason.
[00:38:42] It is force.
[00:38:43] And so churches, individuals, families should step forward and say, here's a person on the street that has not.
[00:38:52] I'm well blessed.
[00:38:55] I've got adequate.
[00:38:56] I'm going to help them have a meal or two or maybe a place to stay or whatever.
[00:39:01] But it's a free will offering.
[00:39:03] And a lot of times we assume, oh, I gave it the government, so everything's fine.
[00:39:08] Well, there's generally speaking a reduction in overall prosperity and peace if government gets involved.
[00:39:17] Government does everything really poorly.
[00:39:20] Even the things it's supposed to do, it's not very efficient at.
[00:39:24] But there are some things that need to be delegated.
[00:39:27] And they have been delegated very wisely in the Constitution.
[00:39:31] But there's nothing in there that says, well, to be a Christian, we have to use government as our agent to forcefully take from the haves and give to the have-nots.
[00:39:42] See, this is a perversion that Satan makes a counterfeit of everything.
[00:39:47] I mean, if marriage is this, he says it should be that.
[00:39:51] If anything that you can think about that has a godly origin, Satan has put another spin on it.
[00:39:58] And so we have to measure and weigh things in the right scale.
[00:40:03] And government, I weigh it in the scale of the Constitution.
[00:40:08] I think it's a divinely established process by which we can be a free and independent people.
[00:40:16] And we can fulfill our divine role of helping our fellow man.
[00:40:20] And government is not to be the agent by which we do everything.
[00:40:25] We live in a society that's a mother-may-I society.
[00:40:29] You've got to have permission to do everything from some government agency.
[00:40:32] And that was never the way it was intended by the American founding fathers.
[00:40:37] In fact, the government should prevent that.
[00:40:39] The government, what does the First Amendment say?
[00:40:43] Shall not promote a religion or prohibit the free exercise thereof?
[00:40:48] Yeah.
[00:40:48] I mean, you've got churches trying to take care of the homeless and trying to take care of people.
[00:40:51] And the government literally shuts them down.
[00:40:53] No, you can't do that.
[00:40:54] The government's doing it.
[00:40:55] Or, you know, hey, how dare you speak up about prayer?
[00:40:58] You can't promote religion in the public square.
[00:41:00] Yeah, I can.
[00:41:01] Okay.
[00:41:02] And all of it is completely perverted where the government's at the center of it all.
[00:41:04] The government wants us to look to it for solutions.
[00:41:07] We should be looking to God.
[00:41:08] And the government's role, in my mind, is to create an evil, wow, a level playing field.
[00:41:14] And then to get out of the way, doctor.
[00:41:17] We need to understand these principles and turn to God.
[00:41:19] And I'm telling you right now, I don't care who wins tomorrow, whether it be for the governor of Utah or the presidency or any congressional, whatever.
[00:41:28] Unless we turn to God, it isn't going to go well.
[00:41:31] We're on a serious slippery slope, though.
[00:41:33] We basically turned our back on God.
[00:41:35] You know, even this latest huge hurricane that trashed Florida and the Carolinas and all this kind of stuff.
[00:41:40] There was a few people that talked about God, but for the most part, not really.
[00:41:44] It didn't even turn us to God.
[00:41:45] We just went, oh, you know, golly, Donald will roll out more money than Kamala will.
[00:41:49] No, Kamala's doing fine.
[00:41:51] She's, you know, spending as much money as she can for the cause.
[00:41:54] And all they did was argue about, you know, who's going to be the Savior while ignoring the real Savior.
[00:42:00] God won't.
[00:42:00] I don't speak for Heavenly Father, but I'm telling you, I don't believe from his scripture and his teachings that he'll tolerate that for very long, doctor.
[00:42:09] Well, I believe your assessment is correct.
[00:42:12] And honestly, we look for our Savior in some government agency.
[00:42:16] We have a secular religion, you know, a civil religion.
[00:42:19] It's based on a humanistic perspective that we teach as our religion in our public education.
[00:42:25] You go before the right agency, maybe not on bended knee, but you fill out the right form and hold your mouth just right and sign it and turn it in.
[00:42:32] Oh, presto, changeo, here's your college funding or here's some kind of subsidized housing or whatever.
[00:42:41] Figure it out.
[00:42:42] But the fact of the matter is we don't look to God, unfortunately.
[00:42:45] We look to an agency, and we have lost our faith largely because of that.
[00:42:50] And if we look to God, he can give us these solutions and healings without putting us in a gazillion dollars of debt, without false promises, without dishonesty, without betrayal, without all these different things that, you know, tend to come with what we seem to focus on.
[00:43:06] It's just, wow.
[00:43:07] But I really want us to focus on this.
[00:43:09] I don't care what happens in the country.
[00:43:11] Everybody wants to write a new book, build a new product, do this, do that.
[00:43:14] And they always think, oh, my gosh, now we've got the fix.
[00:43:17] Hey, we need the 1776 project.
[00:43:19] It'll fix education.
[00:43:20] Or we need this.
[00:43:21] It'll do that.
[00:43:21] And every one of it's bogus without God Almighty.
[00:43:25] It just is.
[00:43:26] And I don't know how to hammer that point home more than we already do, doctor, but we must.
[00:43:31] You know, there's the Declaration of Independence.
[00:43:34] It mentions God four times.
[00:43:36] And it talks about, you know, the fact that there's these basic God-given rights.
[00:43:45] And government's, you know, primary purpose is to preserve those rights.
[00:43:51] Go read the first part of the Declaration again.
[00:43:54] You know, the creation and the creator and looking to Almighty God, all of those things are in there.
[00:44:01] Government basically is to prevent the destruction of God-given rights.
[00:44:05] And nowadays they're creating rights that they offload onto somebody else, the responsibility to fulfill those rights.
[00:44:13] And that's why Obama's Civil Rights Commission in September of 2016 tried to narrowly define God-given religion kinds of things.
[00:44:23] Really, government is to prevent force, is to prevent fraud, and is to prevent debauchery.
[00:44:29] Okay?
[00:44:30] When it goes much beyond that.
[00:44:31] And right now it's promoting all of those things, not preventing them in any way.
[00:44:34] Right.
[00:44:35] They're right.
[00:44:36] So that's our problem is that we have turned the religious philosophies our founding fathers had upside down.
[00:44:45] And now it's like, oh, yeah, we're watching out for our fellow man.
[00:44:50] But they're all force-based.
[00:44:53] And government is to prevent force in those things.
[00:44:57] And religions, honestly, it's an indictment against religion also, Sam.
[00:45:02] Religions have said, oh, no, no, no.
[00:45:04] Turn to your government because they'll take care of that.
[00:45:08] And they're reserving their funds for whatever purpose.
[00:45:12] I mean, and we could get into a long discussion about how perversely that's being handled in many religions.
[00:45:17] But the fact of the matter is religion, pure and undefiled, is defined pretty succinctly in the Scriptures.
[00:45:26] And religions nowadays very, very often seem to be more interested in their bottom line financially than in fulfilling.
[00:45:36] I mean, think about Jesus of Nazareth and Peter the fisherman.
[00:45:40] These guys were not, shall we say, rolling in the dough all the time, okay, or any of the time.
[00:45:47] But many religions have turned into a very opulent kind of, you know, they like the fine twined linen and the gold and the silver.
[00:45:56] And they like the royal robes.
[00:45:58] And they like the, you know.
[00:46:00] They do.
[00:46:00] A lot do for sure.
[00:46:01] Any perverse thing.
[00:46:02] Yeah.
[00:46:02] But you know what?
[00:46:03] I commend David Jeremiah.
[00:46:04] And I commend Dr. Bradley for pointing this out.
[00:46:07] I have pointed this out.
[00:46:08] Stand with this.
[00:46:09] I think more of us need to just work on it.
[00:46:11] The National Day of Prayer is a great effort.
[00:46:14] There's people making good efforts.
[00:46:16] And there's people doing a lot of good in this world.
[00:46:18] For example, the quintessential movie series in my mind in my lifetime really that I believe is so valuable is The Chosen.
[00:46:27] I mean, it really is bringing people to Christ and really making a difference.
[00:46:31] And the guy behind all that is a guy by the name of Dallas Jenkins.
[00:46:37] And, you know, Dallas has done a tremendous job.
[00:46:39] He's been a movie producer and whatever for quite some time or director or whatever you want to call him.
[00:46:44] I don't know the difference sometimes between producers and directors.
[00:46:48] You know, we split hairs on who does what sometimes.
[00:46:50] But I bring this up because he is involved in a couple of other films that I've watched recently that I really want to focus on.
[00:46:57] Because I believe, again, teaching these fundamental principles, letting people govern themselves, reminding people of Christ, pointing people to Christ.
[00:47:04] That's really important.
[00:47:07] Anyway, there's a movie coming out soon called The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.
[00:47:12] The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.
[00:47:14] It's a film directed by Dallas Jenkins.
[00:47:17] It's based on the 1972 book or the novel, if you will, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever by Barbara Robinson.
[00:47:26] And it's not a real story, but it's poignant, though.
[00:47:30] It's valuable.
[00:47:31] It points people to Christ.
[00:47:33] Anyway, this movie is coming out on November the 8th, 2024.
[00:47:37] Running time, 99 minutes.
[00:47:40] And I was able to go see this movie, a preview of it.
[00:47:44] Boy, is it good.
[00:47:46] And not only did I see the preview of it, but I saw a clip from season five of The Chosen as a pre-release as well.
[00:47:55] It's when the Savior's in the upper room with the apostles or the disciples.
[00:48:01] And it is just something.
[00:48:02] I'm just telling you right now, incredible.
[00:48:04] But this movie that I'm telling you about that's going to be out, The Best Christmas Pageant Ever,
[00:48:10] is about these kids that are the worst kids in the world, they say.
[00:48:14] And they're just destroying everything around them.
[00:48:17] Well, somehow they end up being involved in the Christmas pageant at a church.
[00:48:22] And the whole community is like, oh, my gosh, these kids are going to ruin this.
[00:48:25] This is going to be horrible.
[00:48:26] Our Christmas pageant's ruined.
[00:48:27] But one mother gives them a chance and believes in them and says, you know what?
[00:48:37] Jesus died for them, too.
[00:48:39] The Christmas story's for them, too.
[00:48:41] And she sticks with what she knows to be right, even though she's afraid it might melt down.
[00:48:45] But she trusts in God.
[00:48:47] She works with these kids.
[00:48:48] It's a tremendous movie that points people to Christ.
[00:48:51] It really does.
[00:48:52] It's something that you ought to see.
[00:48:54] And, you know, I normally am not in my whole life.
[00:48:57] I haven't really been a movie guy too much because there's just when I grew up, there wasn't very many good movies.
[00:49:01] But now there's starting to be tremendous movies, lots of them coming out.
[00:49:06] And I try to go to the theaters and watch them because I want to really support this good stuff.
[00:49:11] And that's kind of the takeaway here.
[00:49:12] I want us to think about that.
[00:49:14] When these things come out, you need to make it your goal to go to them and fund them.
[00:49:18] And your goal to reject the bad things and don't make popular that which is good and that unpopular which is not good.
[00:49:25] So that's one movie.
[00:49:27] It's coming out on the 8th.
[00:49:29] So, you know, pretty quick here.
[00:49:33] This Friday, I guess, the best Christmas pageant ever.
[00:49:38] Very, very good.
[00:49:39] Points people to Christ.
[00:49:40] The other film that Jenkins is involved in that came out quite a while ago, I think in 2017, is called The Resurrection of Gavin Stone.
[00:49:49] It's a 2017 American Christian comedy drama film directed by Dallas Jenkins.
[00:49:57] And this is so good, The Resurrection of Gavin Stone.
[00:50:01] Gavin Stone was a child actor and he grew up and got all disgraced just like most actors and actresses do.
[00:50:06] They start out, you know, pure great acting, great instinct, great talent.
[00:50:10] But then they run off the rails and get hooked on drugs and they think they're the cat's meow because they've just been famous their whole lives.
[00:50:15] And so he melts down and gets community service, 200 hours at a church.
[00:50:20] The Resurrection of Gavin Stone is an inspirational comedy about faith and forgiveness.
[00:50:28] Gavin Stone, the washed up former star.
[00:50:31] Anyway, he eventually discovers what's important and rejects Holly Warped and decides that he's got more important things to do in life.
[00:50:40] And it really turns Gavin Stone to Christ as it turns people to Christ.
[00:50:48] So this Dallin Jenkins guy is involved in some critical stuff, pointing people to God.
[00:50:53] And I think that's what we need to be doing on the radio.
[00:50:55] That's what we need to be doing is encouraging prayer of all the things when it's election time, of all the things you hear.
[00:51:00] Donald's doing this.
[00:51:01] Kamala's doing that.
[00:51:01] Donald promises that.
[00:51:02] That, that, that, that, whatever.
[00:51:05] I want to tell you that God almighty is in charge.
[00:51:07] He has not forgot about us, but we better not forget about him or else I'm telling you right now, the gloves are coming off and it will not be fun.
[00:51:14] It will not be pretty.
[00:51:15] And the more we turn to God between now and when the savior Jesus Christ returns, the safer and the more stable society will be.
[00:51:22] And that is our responsibility to do all that we can to say, Lord, we love thee.
[00:51:27] We believe in thee.
[00:51:28] We want to repent and follow thee.
[00:51:29] We have faith and hope and trust in Christ and Lord, we know your promises are true and real.
[00:51:36] And if we, the people can do that, we can do more for this country than any other way.
[00:51:41] Doctor.
[00:51:42] You know, oddly enough, yesterday morning, my wife and I reviewed a little scene in the chosen, the first season where Nicodemus and Mary interacted.
[00:51:55] And it is, you talk about poignant kind of thing where Nicodemus had tried, you know, as a religious infrastructure, corporate organization kind of thing to release Mary from some of her challenges.
[00:52:07] And then Jesus were a very, the scene that we reviewed didn't include Jesus, but Mary's retelling of it to Nicodemus.
[00:52:16] Nicodemus has played very well in this as is Mary.
[00:52:19] But he's saying, what happened?
[00:52:22] How come you're, how come you're okay and everything?
[00:52:24] And she says, you know, I don't know.
[00:52:26] And I don't even know who did it, but I'll know him forever because he made the difference.
[00:52:30] It was what I was and now what I am.
[00:52:33] And what happened was him in the middle and it changed me forever.
[00:52:37] Okay.
[00:52:38] And of course, that's Jesus Christ.
[00:52:40] And he called her by name.
[00:52:41] He knows us by name.
[00:52:43] Every one of us.
[00:52:44] He knows you, Sam.
[00:52:45] He could call you by name and would know every single.
[00:52:48] And I know you should.
[00:52:49] That's right.
[00:52:50] Absolutely.
[00:52:50] But Jesus is there and he can change from the most upside down and backward life you can possibly think about.
[00:53:01] And to me, it was just, it was a simple, sweet retelling by Mary humbly recognizing how he changed her.
[00:53:11] And you talk about this Gavin Stone guy.
[00:53:14] I saw that movie quite a while ago.
[00:53:15] It's sappy.
[00:53:16] Yeah, it is.
[00:53:17] It's, but it's, it's a sweet thing in a lot of ways too, because here's a guy that, as you say, thinks he's a cat meow.
[00:53:24] And, and he ends up finding out he doesn't fit anywhere.
[00:53:27] He's going to play Jesus in the, in their play.
[00:53:30] That's right.
[00:53:31] And it's, it's really interesting.
[00:53:33] I was trying to avoid too many spoilers, but yeah, that's right.
[00:53:34] But it transforms him because he started to realize what the real Jesus did.
[00:53:40] And, and another one that, I mean, I just, with, I know we're running out of time, but I, uh, the passion of Christ that,
[00:53:47] Mel Gibson did, uh, when that first came out, one of my daughters was living in California and I get a call one night and she,
[00:53:55] well, just suffice it to say that it, it was a changing moment in her life to realize what the Savior really did on her behalf.
[00:54:04] And, uh, it was another poignant moment in my personal life.
[00:54:09] So, so there's things that ought to be happening every day in our lives right now.
[00:54:13] And we ought to be doing them.
[00:54:15] We talk of Christ.
[00:54:16] We preach of Christ.
[00:54:17] We testify that he lives.
[00:54:19] And we also do our very best to turn people to Christ.
[00:54:22] He is the only Savior, ladies and gentlemen.
[00:54:24] We must pray.
[00:54:25] We must read the scriptures and we must do our very best to get our lives in order.
[00:54:29] That's the best way we can restore the principles of liberty and prepare for the Savior Jesus Christ to return.
[00:54:35] Thank you so much, Dr. Bradley, freedomsizingson.com for his incredible work.
[00:54:39] God save the Republic of the United States of America.
