* Hey Melania Trump: Let's Start A 'Be Best' Media, Press Core!
[00:00:13] Broadcasting live from atop the Rocky Mountains, the crossroads of the West. You are listening to the Liberty Roundtable Radio Talk Show. All right. Happy to have you along, my fellow Americans. Sam Bushman live on your radio. Hard-hitting news the network refused to use, no doubt, continues now. This, my fellow Americans, is the broadcast for... What the heck, man? Time sure flies, huh?
[00:00:41] It's already January the 14th, folks. Look, we've got six days till the inauguration. Sheriff Richard Mack, CSPOA.org, and myself are urging for a humble foreign policy. Carrie Underwood's going to sing. The village people are going to be there and singing. You know what? I appreciate that. But we need to have a humble foreign policy, folks. Look at J6th. New report just came out. I got to repeat this.
[00:01:11] Trump not only offered the military to protect the Capitol, but he ordered it. He was disobeyed. That's right. By his acting defense secretary, a thug known as Christopher Miller. Westernjournal.com with this piece. Joe Saunders with the report. Now look, we've been hearing for four years about how Trump's responsible,
[00:01:39] about how all these different people are responsible. And people were there to try to help. Like my dear friend Stuart Rhodes was there to help. He didn't bring guns into the Capitol. No, he left them outside, but had them at the ready saying, if Trump needs us, we're here to keep the peace. Stuart Rhodes never went into action.
[00:02:04] Except for a few Oath Keepers did use stack military formations to help protect the police. It's on video. So now the question becomes, will Trump reward loyalty like that from a Stuart Rhodes and the Oath Keepers? And will Trump release Stuart Rhodes in six days? Time will tell. I pray the answer is yes.
[00:02:32] I also command Florida Governor Ron DeSantis saying we've got to have a legislative session to figure out how to support Trump in this deportation. Shame on the clowns in California. They're literally spending $50 million to oppose Trump at every turn to defend illegal aliens and gangs and criminals and thugs. All right? Anyway, there you have it.
[00:03:00] They say this is not simply negligence, but it's criminal negligence. That's the top stars blasting California over the fires. So anyway, there you have that. Wow. All right. Join the CSPOA posse today. Would like to thank Richard Mack for joining us for the first hour. Now I've got an interesting headline for you. J.P. Morgan. Jamie Dimon. Yeah, that's the guy whispering in Donald's ear. It's a disgrace.
[00:03:27] You got one of the biggest banking cartel leaders in the world whispering in Donald's ear. I sure wish I could speak to President Trump. But nevertheless, Jamie Dimon is. But here's the deal. Doe just pushing for this. Shame on them. Jamie Dimon pushing for this. Shame on him. Headline says this. J.P. Morgan. Time to come back into the office full time.
[00:03:56] Comments got shut off on the post about the policy change. So here's what happened. All these different government entities and all these different private sector big business folks. You know, Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos and Vivek Ramaswamy and all these guys. They want to promote the H-1B visa programs. And I don't like those programs, but I think they're necessary right now.
[00:04:24] You can't turn them off tomorrow or we'll have a dearth in knowledge. And other countries will advance and we will languish. So you've got to keep the H-1B visas going temporarily. While you shut down the education department and tell Americans they better toughen up and they better get educated and do so fast. We complain these jobs could be taken by Americans, but Americans aren't ready to take these jobs. They don't study hard enough in mathematics and the sciences. And I mean, the list goes on and on.
[00:04:54] So we've got to have these H-1 visas. Well, that's a big battle between Steve Bannon and Elon Musk. Bannon says, hey, Musk is a bad guy, an evil guy, a clown. And it all started over this H-1B visa battle. But I agree with Musk. You've got to keep them for now because we're not ready. Steve Bannon, you couldn't fill most of these jobs we're talking about to make the point. Anyway, I digress, except this is an interesting issue.
[00:05:21] So now you've got everybody saying, well, hey, how we fix this is we tell all the employees in the government you've got to go work in the office. But I don't see why we need to have everybody go back to the office. J.P. Morgan, time to come back into the office. It got such opposition by the employees of J.P. Morgan that the comments were shut off because all the comments were saying, no, this is bogus. This is and here's my response.
[00:05:49] Where's the environmentalists when you need them? I get that you say, well, we don't want these people just hanging out on their couch while they're supposed to be working. I get that. And I agree that, hey, but if they it's very simple. There's ways to track work, folks. I've been involved in the remote workforce for literally almost 40 years. And I'm telling you that I've managed employees. I've worked with employees.
[00:06:15] I provided IT for employees all in remote work scenarios. And I happen to know a lot about it. And when COVID hit, the companies that I worked for didn't even blink because they were already distributed work from anywhere staffs. So we just kind of smiled and went, OK, everybody else scrambled a ton. But why do you want everybody to get in their cars and drive to work and just create this environmental catastrophe?
[00:06:44] You get clogged roads. You get crowded. You get accidents. You get a ton of time spent on the road. You say, well, Sam, we got to ensure these people are working. Let me just tell you something right now. You don't need to monitor time at work. Someone clocks in, hangs out by the water cooler, you know, does things online, goes to the bathroom, goes to lunch, talks to their colleagues. They waste half the day. OK. Tracking time is not what you need to do.
[00:07:14] The way you track remote work is by the work they accomplish. Let me give you an example. I've got a video editor. OK. And he's producing the videos that I have at LibertyRoundTable.com right now. They're great, by the way. In fact, I'm going to have Liz. Can you go to LibertyRoundTable.com, click on videos, and I want you to pick the most interesting video you think there. We're going to play that here in a minute. In the meantime, though, what I'm saying is my video editor, here's what he does for me.
[00:07:43] He records my videos live raw, and then he produces the videos. Well, I don't need to track his time because I can see his output. It's called videos. And if he outputs, you know, four, five, six videos a week for me, I know that he's doing his work. He has to be. And you say, Sam, what if he gets, you know, five hours of work done in four? Don't care. Don't care.
[00:08:12] It means he's incredibly efficient and doing a killer job. What I don't want to do is ratchet him down to four. People cannot work at 100% full capacity all the time. It's not possible. And sometimes, you know what? He can produce a certain number of videos in four hours when it normally takes five. Sometimes something bad happens and it takes six, though. So you've got to be flexible.
[00:08:33] You've got to learn to gauge workers' productivity not on time they're in the office or time they're sitting in the chair or time they're clocked in. You at government, and especially you at J.P. Morgan should know this. Big business, you should know this. Track it by the output. Let me ask you a question. If I'm on the radio for two hours, am I at work those two hours? You bet I am. You can hear me on the radio, right?
[00:09:04] You say, well, hey, is Sam spending the extra work that it takes to do a good job on the radio? You can tell that in the stories that I gather. Okay? Think about the stories we covered in the first hour to make the point. We talked. We had our guest on, Sheriff Richard Mack. So I booked a guest, right? We talked about the National Sheriff's Association from Daily Wire. We talked about shame Tulsi Gabbard.
[00:09:31] We talked about we openly called for a humble inauguration. We got an update about Ted Nugent. We talked about Carrie Underwood. We talked about Carrie Underwood. Newser.com. And we highlighted her, you know, hey, she loves her country. It's not about politics to her. It's about singing and trying to make America better. Don't care who the president is. She'll sing for anybody. We talked about Texas Governor Greg Abbott and what he's doing about the inauguration and the flags.
[00:10:00] We talked about J6, Western Journal. We talked about Biden, student debt cancellation and how unconstitutional it is. Okay. We talked about, you know, these borrowers and how many borrowers and how much money, 186 billion dollars that Joe Biden unconstitutionally forgives against the court without authority. Congress need to prosecute him. We talked about natural news.
[00:10:28] Incoming borders are Tom Holman. We talked about Florida Governor DeSantis. Right? We talked about the L.A. fires. World Net Daily. We talked about the Washington Examiner. This is not simply negligence. This is criminal. World Net Daily. Question. Do you think I'm prepared for the show? That's just in one hour, people. Hang tight. I've got more.
[00:10:58] This is a battle. A battle between truth and deceit. A battle between forces that would enslave this country in darkness and between a media that wants to present you with the truth. We are being censored. America's news outlets no longer provide the truth. 90% of news outlets in the United States are controlled by six corporations. The mission of the Epoch Times is to chase the truth. To ground all statements and facts. TheEpochTimes.com

Everyone knows that the core of any society is the family. Therefore, the government should foster and protect the integrity of its family. We the people. Won't you join us as a Loving Liberty sponsor to help us promote the principles in the 5,000-year leap?
[00:12:52] Let's restore the miracle that changed the world at LovingLiberty.net. Back with you live, ladies and gentlemen. So I'm talking about this Jamie Dimon, J.P. Morgan, saying everybody's got to come back into the office. And I'm saying, you know what? They don't. You got Doge saying government's got to come back into the office. They don't. Let me just tell you something. This is very easy.
[00:13:19] If you're not in the office and I can't, one, know what you do and or, two, have a great way to measure your work, then I don't need you. You're gone. Okay? It's that simple. It's that simple. Whatever somebody's doing, there is a way to create a KPI. What's a KPI, you ask?
[00:13:49] A key primary indicator. Okay? I can look at a KPI and measure your productivity. Right? How do I know if my producer is doing her job on the radio? Well, she connects to me to do the show, number one. If she doesn't connect, I figure, hmm, maybe she's not there. If she connects, I have no doubt she's there.
[00:14:14] And if I ask her to play a clip and get a guest on the phone and I talk to her on the break and tell her what I need and what I'm doing, right? Think about that. Anyway, there is an email that I just got that I find comical because it relates to exactly what I'm talking about. Oh, it's, I guess it's from the NAB, not WND, NAB, National Association of Broadcasters. Here's what it says.
[00:14:42] Seven must-haves for remote work in the modern age, if you will. Right? And I look at that and I go, hey, Doge ought to see that. Jamie Dimon ought to see that, right? Anyway, all I'm telling you is that it's easy to determine if people are working or not. What is your job? Is it to, you know, meet with people?
[00:15:11] Then how many meetings have you conducted? How long was each meeting? What did you accomplish in the meeting? Where's the meeting notes? I mean, you can have AI transcribe your notes on the fly right now when you're in a meeting. Oh, that's if it's remote and not in person, huh? Well, you can do it in person, too, if you want to. But anyway, I digress. I'm just saying, is your goal to sell cars? Well, then I don't need to know how much time you put in. I just need to know how many cars you sell. Is your goal to take orders at a counter? Pretty easy.
[00:15:41] Oh, those people don't work at home, Sam. Fine. What about the person that does work from home? Are they an order entry person? How many entries did they, how many orders did they put in? If they're supposed to write documents or produce, you know, written copy, how many pages? Okay, there's ways to gauge these remote people, folks. And I'm just telling you right now, if they don't understand it, call me. I'll help you. But it's shocking to me.
[00:16:07] Why do we want to crowd up the roads and get everybody in the office at the same time every day? Oh, well, Sam, because it's going to help the business people with all their buildings. They've got these buildings. Government has these buildings. Hey, get rid of all the buildings if you don't need them. Use them for something else. Aren't we short on housing? Fine. Just take down the whole building and rebuild it for housing.
[00:16:36] Because we're short on housing, they say. Why do I need to drive my car for an hour or a half hour? Or heaven forbid, what if I have to take government transportation? I mean, they're dangerous as all get out. Just ask the New Yorkers how safe their public transportation is. See, why do we want to subject people to all that? Where's the environmentalists to say we shouldn't be wasting all that fuel? We shouldn't be traveling about so much. You know?
[00:17:06] Anyway. All right, there you have it. Let me give you an example about Mike Johnson. This guy is supposed to, you know, be paid to be the Speaker of the House on top of being a congressman. So he gets, what, $175,000 a year just to be a congressman or more when you count all the benefits and everything else, right? So he makes twice what I make already. But then he gets all these benefits. But here's what he says to me and you and everybody else in an email.
[00:17:33] Should there be conditions on federal aid to California? And so he goes on and he tells you, you know, California, man, they're derelict in their duty. Look at what happened with the fire. They put a bunch of money into this DEI, diversity, equity, and inclusion garbage. They promoted all kinds of weird, perverted, lesbian, gay, and transgender stuff. The mayor's a clown with ties to communism. It's a disgrace. The mayor wasn't even in town when all the fires broke out and everything else.
[00:18:02] The fire chief told the mayor in advance that this was a disaster. They didn't care. They shorted the budget and left the people, you know, without the resources necessary. All this happened. And so Mike Johnson's saying, hey, should there be conditions on aid to California? Mike Johnson gives his answer. And what he says is there should be some conditions. These people are clowns. But here's my point to you, Mike Johnson. Shame on you, brother.
[00:18:32] The first commandment, if you're a Christian, buddy, in this regard is thou shalt not steal. It's one of the 10. Let me say it again for clarity. Mike Johnson, thou shalt not steal. Isn't that four words? From God in one of the 10 commandments, thou shalt not steal. So when you want to give aid to California, what you really want to do is steal from everybody's wallet in the nation, all 350 million of us. And then you want to send it to the 40 million that hate us.
[00:19:02] The 40 million people that, hey, according to their leadership, want to raise $50 million to oppose Donald Trump. And to protect illegal aliens. Aliens. If they have $50 million for that, we don't need to send them any money at all. Now, if private sector people, Mike Johnson, if you want to send your own personal money, you have a good time, buddy. You start writing the check.
[00:19:31] You start with a positive number and start adding zeros, baby, if you're that serious about it. But don't you dare. I'm going to say it again. Don't you dare steal my money and put my resources to it because thou shalt not steal. So let me tell you the condition, Mike Johnson, just for kind of clarity. Are you ready? The condition is that you don't spend my money or any of the taxpayers' money. That's the only condition.
[00:19:59] You don't have the authority or the right to steal my money, to use my tax dollars. Davy Crockett was confronted about this by a farmer. It's a legendary story. Go check it out. But I'm telling you, Mike Johnson, should there be conditions? Yes, there should. The condition is that you're a congressman. You've sworn to uphold the Constitution, which means you abide by the principle thou shalt not steal. You don't have the ability, the authority to rob Peter to pay Paul.
[00:20:25] You don't have the ability to steal from the rest of our taxpayers to send money to anybody, much less whacked out liberal Californians. A significant number of them are illegal. While they've got $50 million to spend in opposition to the duly elected Trump administration. Right? Anyway, just thought I'd bring that to your attention. Shame on Mike Johnson. I mean, the more I hear from the guy, I hear he's a good Christian and a nice guy. I bet it's all true.
[00:20:55] But I don't know what is wrong with him. I don't know what happens when you get up there in Congress. I don't know if it's, you know, you drink the water. I don't know what happens to you. But he's off his rock crazy. He's the guy that wanted to do the 1,500-page spending bill to spend this into oblivion right before Trump takes office. What sense is that? Thank heavens, calmer heads, cooler heads shut him down. And thank the heavens. But then Trump backed him as speaker. Now he's your speaker again. Another huge mistake by the American people.
[00:21:25] Now he's going, hey, we're going to send money to the people in California. Never mind they're spending $50 million to sue us and cause problems with getting rid of gangbangers and illegal aliens and thugs and criminals and rapists and murderers and everybody else that we want to get rid of. They're going to spend $50 million to oppose us on that. But, hey, maybe we should put some conditions and send some money to California. Have you lost your mind? Well, that's what, you know.
[00:21:54] So, you know, I know Mike is saying, well, we've got to have strings attached to this or we've got to have, no, you need to not spend the money. By the way, did you know, Mike Johnson, that you're $36 trillion in debt, buddy? You don't have any business to write any check to California or anybody else. In fact, what you should be saying is if you clams are going to spend $50 million to sue us, then how much does the feds give to the state of California? Because we're just going to withhold all that money. That's the condition. We're just going to not spend any money on California at all, period.
[00:22:23] You guys are on your own. But they won't do that, will they? No, I don't think so. Well, the communist Chinese are doing really well in their economy while we struggle in ours.
[00:22:35] China announced on Monday that its, quote, trade surplus reached almost $1 trillion last year in 2024 as its exports swamped the globe. While the country's own businesses and citizens or households spent cautiously on imports.
[00:23:04] So let me get this straight. In China, businesses, people, individuals, government, they're spending really cautiously on imports. But boy, do they export until the cows come home to the point of literally a trade surplus reached a trillion dollars. Do you know who's responsible for almost all of that trillion dollars? Make America great again. Yeah, America.
[00:23:34] America, we're the ones. Ha! I kid you not. It's hard to even believe. We're the ones, as far as I understand, that are basically saying, um, yeah, let's just go ahead and back China. I don't understand it. I really don't understand it.
[00:24:00] China has a billion, I mean a trillion, in one year, a trillion dollar debt surplus. In one year, as they flood the globe with communist Chinese products. And what are they going to do with that trillion dollars? They're going to put it into their agenda to wreak havoc around the world and promote communism.
[00:24:28] Using the Panama Canal to push into our hemisphere. And we're going to sit back and go, well, golly, we're going to have an inauguration for 200 billion dollars. What are we thinking? I'm Sam Bushman. Back in a second on your radio. You're listening to Liberty News Radio.
[00:24:59] News this hour from townhall.com. I'm Rich Thomason. Senate confirmation hearings now underway for Pete Hegseth, President-elect Trump's choice for Secretary of Defense. He's facing Democrat opposition amid anonymous allegations of wrongdoing, all of which Hegseth has steadfastly denied. Looks like Southern California firefighters won't be getting much of a break from those fears Santa Ana winds.
[00:25:25] Winds are increasing in the Los Angeles area and there could be gusts of 70 miles per hour. National Weather Service meteorologist Todd Hall in California also says they have some of the driest air right now. These extreme critical fire weather conditions that are coming together, that any new starts could exacerbate the situation as far as the number of fires burning up across Southern California and the impact on resources. Firefighting planes could be affected.
[00:25:54] Red flag warnings are already in effect and firefighters could be dealing with very dangerous situations. I'm Julie Walker. Today is day two of a nationwide campaign by Citizens Group Americans for Prosperity to prevent the 2017 Trump tax cuts from expiring at the end of this year. AFP Vice President Akash Shaguli says the campaign is multifaceted, designed to reach both taxpayers and members of Congress.
[00:26:21] What we're doing is this nationwide campaign of more than 100 events across the country, door knocking and ads and events. In addition to working inside the Capitol, inside Washington's lawmakers and their staffers so that the priorities are aligned. And that message is going in both directions in a way that no one else other than AFP can do because of our presence in the grassroots and in Washington. Americans for Prosperity is seeking grassroots support nationwide to help preserve the Trump cuts.

After a moral crisis, she quit and now she campaigns against what she once endorsed.
[00:28:08] They implement abortion quotas in all of their clinics. What do you mean, quotas? You have to perform a certain number of abortions every month. One of the reasons that I left... Are they explicit about that? Yes. It's in your budget, right there on the line item. One of the reasons I left Planned Parenthood was because in a budget meeting I was told to double that abortion quota. And for me, as someone who had spoken to the media and had said, you know, we're about reducing the number of abortions.
[00:28:35] We're about, you know, prevention, all of these other services. I was shocked to do that. So since you actually worked at a Planned Parenthood, give us some sense of the relative number of abortions. Okay. Abortions. Planned Parenthood provides over 330,000 abortions a year. They are the largest single abortion provider in our country. As you are aware, America is divided over every fault line possible.

[00:30:13] Casting live from atop the Rocky Mountains, the crossroads of the West, you are listening to the Liberty Roundtable Radio Talk Show. Back with you live, ladies and gentlemen, Sam Bushman on your radio. So China basically has this massive trillion-dollar trade deficit, as I was mentioning. I'm sorry, trade surplus to our trade deficit. I'm sorry.
[00:30:38] China has a trillion-dollar trade surplus to our significant and many other countries' significant trade deficits. What are they going to do with that trillion dollars? What do you think the Communist CCP, Communist Chinese Party, what do you think they're going to do with that trillion dollars in one year? You think they're going to provide more freedom for their citizens?
[00:31:05] Do you think they're going to basically stay out of Taiwan's biz? Do you think they're going to back away from the Panama Canal? Why are we charged more for our ships to go through the Panama Canal than the Communist Chinese that have a trillion-dollar surplus in one year? When we have $36 trillion in debt, part of that, a significant portion of that, the Communist Chinese in the first place. It makes no sense.
[00:31:34] And Mike Johnson's like, hey, should there be conditions on aid going to California? You're more than broke, Mike. Anyway, what a disgrace that is from a China point of view and a domestic point of view. China and California are both taking the taxpayers' monies like it's going out of style with no end in sight, right? Meanwhile, they're like, yeah, we're going to get rid of the education department. Pretty soon they'll be like, well, we can't really do that, but, you know, we'll clean it up. Or whatever they'll say. It's just a waste of time.
[00:32:05] All right. Next interesting piece brought to you in part by LibertyRoundtable.com. Click on the short videos and check it out. Did you find a video that we can talk about, Liz? All right. Hopefully Liz can get that. We're about ready to play one of those. Consumer Protection Bureau. Do you know about that? Do you know about the CPB, I guess is what you call that? Consumer Protection Bureau. Why do we even have one of those?
[00:32:35] There doesn't need to be a Consumer Protection Bureau at the head of the United States. Where's the Constitutionally the authority for that? Oh, it's something else Congress dreamt up. Another big old waste of money. But the Consumer Protection Bureau now will soon, quote, remove medical bills from your credit reports. They say it's official. Yeah. Nothing when they say it's official, right? It's official.
[00:33:02] Medical debt now barred from your credit reports. They say credit scores are expected to rise by about 20 points on the average. I'm hoping you'll pick a specific one to play. You can pick the one. All right. Shame on you. Fool me once. Shame on me. Fool me twice. Shame on you. We'll get to that in just a second. But this Consumer Protection Agency, this bureau. So let me get this straight.
[00:33:30] Why does the federal government need to decide what's included in my credit report and not? That's question one. No medical bills. At first, that sounds great. But at the same time, hey, if you take out medical bills and then you say, well, you know, you got to take out your utility bill and you got to take out your internet bill, their infrastructure items, and pretty soon you don't have any way to gauge somebody's credit.
[00:33:59] But none of us even know what the credit scores consist of. Who made that up? These private companies or your government? Because your Consumer Protection Bureau, they're calling all the shots. Then you got these private few players that government partners with to then create this secret score on you and me that our lives, our financial wherewithals, our ability to borrow is gauged on.
[00:34:27] And if they start taking away certain things like medical bills, what happens when they start adding things like maybe your online behavior score? Sam, you're being pretty negative about the Government Protection Agency or the Consumer Protection Bureau there. You know, your credit score is going down from a social score point of view there, Sam.
[00:34:54] And so your credit went up because of your medical issues being taken out, but it went down, well, because we added a few different things. Anyway, I'm telling you right now, shut down the Consumer Protection Bureau. When did that get started anyway? Anyway, when did the Consumer Protection Bureau get started? Because it's interesting to me. We think that government's been around forever, right?
[00:35:25] When did it get started? You think about this and you go, hey, we think most government things have been around forever, but do you realize how much government has grown up around us in the last 20 years, 10 years, our lifetime, right? Right? It's an independent agency, they say. The United States is Consumer Protection Bureau.
[00:35:49] Banks, credit unions, securities firms, paid lenders, mortgage servicing operations, foreclosure operations, lease services, debt collectors, for-profit colleges, and any other company. Right? When was it created?
[00:36:15] They called the law that relates to us often called the Dodd-Frank Act. That's just recent stuff, right? They wanted to increase accountability. Do you think it creates accountability? All right, 2010. The Dodd-Frank Act is when this thing started. 2010.
[00:36:41] And I look at this and I go, I mean, do they really need to remove medical bills from my credit scores? Do we need government that involved? Do we need government involved with these private entities to determine my financial life and wherewithal or some score on me? Why are they keeping a score on me in the first place? Will Donald jettison this organization completely? He didn't the first go-round because it started in 2010 and he kept it alive in his first administration, right?
[00:37:10] Will he jettison it in his second administration? I don't know. Well, a lot of times people believe that a wife is always in the shadow of her husband. And we've thought that with Melania because she hasn't really done much. She's been pretty quiet. I mean, she's done some things, but not much. This time she's stepping out nobly, boldly, and independently and declaring she doesn't even agree with her husband on some things. Now, I'm not trying to separate Melania and Donald like many are.
[00:37:39] The mainstream press loves to do that. They love to create divides between everybody. I reject that. I think Donald and Melania are doing quite well. He's been with her for quite a while, and I say good on him for it, right? Their youngest son's turning out to be a delightful young man. Their family, when you see the Trump family, you go, wow, these are classy people. You might not like their politics, but they're classy people. Now, I personally like most of their politics, not all. But anyway, here's the reason I'm telling you all about this.
[00:38:06] There's a story in newser.com highlighting Melania Trump's efforts. She says this, this time it will be very different. Incoming first lady, I guess, speaks with Fox News about the, quote, next four years. She says this, my first priority. Listen to this. I love this from Melania Trump.
[00:38:31] My first priority is, you know, to be a mom, to be a first lady, to be a wife. Newser.com. Now, I don't agree with the order. I think a wife is first. I think a daughter of God is first, relationship with God. A wife is second, then a mom, then the first lady, you know, on down the list. But I'm not here to criticize her.
[00:38:58] I'm just making a point from where I believe, you know, the order of loyalties and et cetera ought to be. But I digress, except to say I commend her for this. And I don't agree with a lot of what she stands for because she's for abortion. She's a lot more liberal than Donald is. However, I got to give her credit for what she's focusing on. When she says she wants to be a mother and a wife, okay, you know what? Good for her.
[00:39:28] Be the first lady. I mean, that's great. Anyway, then she focuses and goes right to her Be Best campaign. I don't know how many of you remember her Be Best campaign, but I always thought it was very cool and praised the program at the time. Melania says that she will, quote, resurrect her Be Best program for children and she will expand it. Amen. I'm here to help.
[00:39:56] Quote, I didn't have much support from anyone, she says, of the, quote, first time round. I invited, and then she says this, all of the streaming platforms to the White House. I had the round table and I didn't have much support from them, she says.
[00:40:21] And imagine what we could do in those years if they would rally behind me and teach the children what to do to protect them about social media and to protect their mental health. I agree with her. I completely agree with her. I'll explain the problem, and I'm hoping for the solution on your radio.

[00:43:02] All right, back with you live, Sam Bushman. Time's flying when you're having fun on the radio, huh? Thanks for being alongside with the ride. Hopefully it's educational, entertaining. Hopefully it's worth your while. Hopefully we provide logical, factual, clear, concise, educational information. Melania Trump says this time it'll be very different. She's going to step out boldly. She's going to resurrect her Be Best program.
[00:43:30] She said last time she invited, and here's what's interesting, the words she used. She said, I didn't have much support from anyone. She said, I invited all the streaming platforms to come, and they didn't really do much to help me. All right, listen to me, Melania. Barron should be able to help you with this. I know that he's provided guidance to President Trump as well. Barron can tell you, look, the streaming platforms aren't who matter. Yes, it's good to invite them. Don't get me wrong. I'm not saying leave them out.
[00:44:00] But you've got to invite all the key people on those platforms. So whether it's Sam Bushman on Truth Social, whether it's our buddies Lance Miliacho and George Ballantine on the Big Mig, whether it's Dave Krieger on, you know, Free to Air Satellite, whether it's I can keep going, right? But you get what I'm saying. I'm saying, look, these are the people that need to be there.
[00:44:29] And if you really want to make your Be Best program shine, let me tell you how you do it. Ready? Melania, I'm your friend. I'm giving you practical, friendly, kind, appropriate advice. So this is a shout-out to Melania, if you will. Okay? And the shout-out is this.
[00:44:55] If you want to make a huge difference, listen to me carefully. Here's what you do. You say, I am going to create a Be Best press corps. That's right. A Be Best press corps.
[00:45:18] And the Be Best press corps, ladies and gentlemen, would not be the mainstream press that have divided this nation for decades. Okay? Not at all. The Be Best, right, corps or media corps or press corps. See, that's the problem. Even the press corps is a little bit of a misnomer, right? What's the press corps, you know? Is that old newspaper people?
[00:45:48] What about the new media taking center stage people? What about people on video and radio and podcasts? I mean, I can go on and on and on, right? Town halls. What about all those people? Citizen reporters and everybody else. Okay, you can mock the press corps by creating a Be Best press corps. And in that Be Best press corps, Melania, you can invite all kinds of people. You can invite a couple of the liberal side. Just don't invite the mainstream press.
[00:46:18] You tell them they can go to their normal press where they've locked us out forever. And this is not to replace them. They can have their deal. We just want to have our deal, too. And so this Be Best press corps would be made up of liberals and conservatives and all up and down the political scale. But we would kind of have this idea that, you know what, we don't want to argue about our differences. What we want to do is create factual content. Who, what, when, where, why.
[00:46:45] And highlight when it's factual news-oriented content. And then help people understand when we're providing commentary on which we may agree or disagree, hopefully agreeably, with civility. And so this Be Best campaign is to teach kids not to bully. It's to teach kids how to understand social media and be protected and wise with that. I love it. But what you need, Melania, is the Be Best press corps. And so that way you've got a whole channel of news.
[00:47:13] And you've got guys like us that will amplify your message everywhere. Yeah. Sam Bushman. Alex Jones. Charlie Kirk. Steve Bannon. Kate Daly. Right? Lance Migliaccio. George Ballantyne over at the Big Mig. Dave Krieger. Right before my show. Point of View. Jesse Lee Peterson. I mean, I can just keep going, right? Alex Newman. Okay.
[00:47:43] I'm just naming the guys that I know that are involved in my sphere. Or people that I, you know, think quite a bit of. Candace Owens. Doing a great job of that. Okay. And bring these people. Bring black people and white people and people who are hardcore on the immigration discussion. And people who are soft on it. People who are against H-1 visas. Or people who are for them. And why? Bring the Elon Musks and the Vivek Ramaswamis and the Sam Bushmans and everybody to the table.
[00:48:13] And the idea is be best. I want you to be on your best behavior. I want you to do your best reporting. I want you to set aside your political rancor. Set aside your anger. Your, quote, hate badge. Your point the turret at the other guy. Or whatever. And I want you to set that aside. And we're going to be best around here. And we're going to create a be best core. And we're going to release the news in meaningful ways.
[00:48:43] Good news. Cheerful news. News that we do our best to bring everybody in on. You don't even need to get into political news necessarily. What you can do is you can talk. You can release studies that have been done over the years. You can just treasure trove the archives of data. And release good news. Hey, when fathers are in the home. The children are less likely to be promiscuous in sex. And less likely to drink alcohol and smoke. And less likely to be in a gang.
[00:49:12] Or less likely to commit crimes. Okay? That's when dad's home. And hey, when. And you can talk about moms. And you can talk about bullying. And you can talk. And you can release all kinds of great stories. I don't know if you know. But right now they're doing a documentary about Melania. Melania spoke about that documentary. And she said. I guess it's going to be made on Amazon Prime. Is who's doing it. So Amazon. Jeff Bezos and Amazon are the ones doing the Melania thing. What a score to get that.
[00:49:42] See what if you would have given that to some. You know. Smaller filmmakers that could really use a boost. Rather than Jeff Bezos. See somehow these rich people just continue to enrich themselves. And every one of them turns to another rich person. And they never lift the rest of us out of anywhere. Even if we deserve it. She says this. We're shooting right now. You know. I guess director Brett Ratner. Or Ratner.
[00:50:10] I guess is the main guy that's doing this for her. I guess we got the information per the Hollywood Reporter. That kind of stuff. Anyway. All I'm telling you is it's pretty interesting what she's doing. And I really support the Be Best campaign. It's to really help children. And I commend her for it. She's raised barren. She's basically trying to say hey you know what. Be best. We can all be on our best. We can be the best. We can be. That means less criticism. More appreciation. Less anger.
[00:50:40] A little more forgiveness. A little less. You know. Trying to pwn the other guy. Or get the other guy. I don't even know what modern word to use. Right. Troll. Whatever. Whatever words relate to this. Okay. We're going to step back now. The mainstream press likes to say. Well Melania. Shame on her for her message. Because man. Her husband. That Donald. Donald. That's his favorite tool. Is to belittle and mock and shame.
[00:51:09] And bully. Others. And that's what Donald. I mean that's what he does. And now she's going to come out with this campaign. How dare her. Shame on her. Isn't that. What. What. Disingenuous. Okay. And here's my response to that. She's coming out separately and saying. I think for myself. I have my own views. And even if. You could say it's a little bit hypocritical for her to do this.
[00:51:39] I would say this. Let's see what good she can do. Let's let her be her best. Let's let her bring out the be best in Donald. And the more we can help promote that agenda. The less fighting and arguing we'll have. The more peace and prosperity we'll have. The more forgiveness and kindness we'll have. The more unity we'll have. The more civility we'll have. The more Christ like we will become. The Lord can bless us.
[00:52:09] And we can have more of it. Folks. I'm hoping to paint a brighter picture for you. Anyway. I don't agree with Melania on a lot. But I do agree with her on being a mother. And a wife. And the first lady. And I do agree with her be best campaign. Helping children. Make sure that they're safe and careful on social media. And that we can help them with. You know. Issues. How far that goes. We need to be very careful.
[00:52:37] Let's let some of the greatest family experts. Like focus on the family. And family research council. And liberty council. And some of these other people that deal with the families a lot. And deal with legislation. And legalese a lot. Let them help guide what happens here. But let's release through the be best press corps millennia. Let's release news that brings us together. News. Good news. Have people rove for it. There's so many good people doing so many good things in the country. You could literally tell good news stories all day long if you hunted them down.
[00:53:07] And you can also then talk about things that build and strengthen the family. Did you know. That you know what. When people eat dinner together. Families that pray together stay together. And you know she can. There are studies that document all this stuff. Do you know that when mothers are present. Then this and that. Their sons or whatever. And when children learn to read. I mean we can go on and on. How do we help children read. Do math. How do we make it cool in America again to be really really smart. To take school seriously.
[00:53:37] To use our time carefully. Productively. Right. That's what we need to really spend our time on. And she can promote all these ideas. She can partner with the Eagle Forum Melania. That'd be a great source for you. Family Research Council. Focus on the Family. Liberty Council. All these people doing just a great job. And I hope I could be part of that quote. Be best press corps as well. Let's call it the be best media corps. Shall we.
[00:54:07] Because it's the core media. The press might get left behind. I hate to tell you that. But hey. You can go to my website. Liberty Roundtable. I forgot to play my video. Oh go check it out. LibertyRoundtable.com. Shame on. You. Shame on me. Anyway. Great stuff. Alright. Thanks for being alongside for the ride. I commend Melania. I hope she's listening. Or somebody can get the message to her. I am here to help you in any way that I possibly can. I am Sam Bushman. This is Liberty Roundtable.
