When a conservative legal group filed a public records request for local police footage of the Jan. 6, 2021, incursion into the United States Capitol, they were told that the request would cost almost $1.6 million.

* Judicial Watch filed a $30 million wrongful death lawsuit over the demise of Ashli Babbitt, who was shot and killed by a Capitol Police officer during the incursion.

The trial date is currently set for July 20, 2026.

* Judicial Watch has also sued the DOJ for “all FBI files on Ashli Babbitt.”

It also sued the CIA “for all records related to any shots fired” inside the Capitol building that day, as well as “records of requests for CIA support including bomb technicians and bomb-detecting dogs placed on standby or used in response to the massive protests in and around Washington, DC”

* On February 13, President Trump made a very strong statement. He said there is no reason that we should be spending a trillion dollars a year on the military, and that we should cut defense spending in half.

We encourage everyone to call there Representative and ask whether they have co-sponsored Thomas Massie's "Audit the Fed" bill, HR 24. If the representative has co-sponsored the bill, thank them; if they have not, then ask them to do so.

* Utah Sen. Mike Lee and Kentucky Rep. Thomas Massie will reintroduce legislation Wednesday afternoon to abolish the Federal Reserve. The bill, titled the Federal Reserve Board Abolition Act, would dissolve the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and each Federal Reserve bank with a one-year timeframe. The bill would also repeal the 1913-era legislation that created the central bank to oversee US monetary policy, according to the bill text.
