Radio Show Hour 2 – 07/09/2025

* Former CIA Director John Brennan and disgraced former FBI Director James Comey are now under criminal investigation by the FBI for potential wrongdoing related to the now-debunked Trump–Russia collusion narrative — including lying under oath to Congress.

The full scope of the criminal investigations into Brennan and Comey is unclear, but two sources described the FBI’s view of the duo’s interactions as a “conspiracy,” which could open up a wide range of potential prosecutorial options.

* They Can Legally LIE To You — And There’s Nothing You Can Do About It

There’s a clause buried in Article I, Section 6 of the Constitution called the Speech or Debate Clause — and it grants every member of Congress full legal immunity for anything they say on the floor of the House or Senate.

[00:00:12] Broadcasting live from atop the Rocky Mountains, the crossroads of the West, you are listening to the Liberty Roundtable Radio Talk Show. Welcome back to Liberty Roundtable Live, of course, with your host, Sam Bushman, and along for the ride today, myself, Lance Miliatcha from the Big Mig team. George Valentin had to cut and run, had a few things to take care of, so, of course, we're going to continue on, top of the second hour, Hour 1 in the can.

[00:00:42] What have we been talking about? We're talking about transparency, talking about accountability and the consequences for government elites and maybe even the deep state. And, of course, is there any gold in Fort Knox? That's the question. I was waiting for the audit, Sam. It doesn't seem like it's going to happen. Well, we're going to go in there and everything, but I just want you to know that I had somebody go in there, not publicly or anything like that. I just want you to know that they went in there and they looked and it's all good.

[00:01:11] I'm just telling you right now, I'm going to answer this in two words, all good. And if you bring this up again, I'm just going to tell you how, I mean, we've been talking about this forever and I've already told you, the gold's there, okay? You got it? I mean, and I'm afraid you would bring it up right now. Hey, wait, when you, how, when you, I mean, there's little girls that died in floods and, I mean, how dare you bring this up when we're about to go to war with Iraq? I mean, we're funding Iraq and sending weapons there and Russia and, I mean. And Ukraine's going to get some more weapons. How dare you? Wow.

[00:01:40] You know, at the end of the day, it's, wow. How dare you? We've been talking about Fort Knox for way too long. I mean, they've been talking about Fort Knox since like 1913 when we moved to the fiat money standard. Yeah. Wow. Okay. This is the kind of clown show we're starting to see from the president. I don't mean to attack Donald. I'm just saying this is just over the top. And now they claim they're going to do a solid investigation. Here it is. Ready?

[00:02:05] And I love Donald Trump and in no way am I trying to, you know, make this a personal vendetta against him. What I'm doing is I'm just holding him accountable for what he promised me. I voted for him. I've supported him for the last 10 years unequivocally. I haven't always agreed with everything he's had to say or do. But at the end of the day, I felt like he was the fix. I felt like he was going to change the country for the better. And I'm not saying he's not doing some good work. I'm not trying to undermine what he's doing.

[00:02:33] I'm just saying that you can't do one thing and then avoid the other. And transparency was one of the big things. Listen, I've got government gangster from Kash Patel, the book, sitting on my shelf back here. I've read it cover to cover. It's very clear what he believed. Listen, I'm a big fan of Dan Bongino. You know, Rumble's the number one platform for the Big Mink show. I love Dan's show. I used to love to listen to him. But I don't know how you take two guys that were so vocal, were so outspoken like Kash Patel and Diane Bongino.

[00:03:02] And all of a sudden now, the whole thing's changed. I don't know what's happened. You know, a lot of people want to say it's compromised. I'll tell you what's happening. The deep state has the ability to compromise anybody. And what if I just simply say to you, you know, you like your pretty wife. Right, Lance? Yep. We like to break pretty things, okay? Now, you understand that he committed suicide. And you understand that there's no list, okay? You got that? Now, you can either take your paycheck and shut up. Or we'll break pretty things and you can do whatever you want to do, buddy. But you're out, first of all.

[00:03:31] And not only that, we'll make sure that there's criminal, you know, filing is against you. The deep state will have lawfare and bury you. Yeah. So we'll break pretty things and bury you. Or you can just, I'm just saying, Lance. Well, here's the thing. Right? Is that how it can go down? You know, when I heard this news yesterday, I wanted to be excited about it. I wanted to say, wow, finally, this is great.

[00:03:58] And I find myself not feeling like that because of the Epstein situation, because of how they've handled the JFK files, because the fact that there are lots of people that are low-hanging fruit that should have criminal indictments against them. And none of that's happened. So the FBI has finally launched this criminal investigation into, of course, the Obama-era spy masters, John Brennan and James Comey. I don't understand why Clapper's name wasn't on there.

[00:04:26] But okay, this should be exciting news, Sam. We should both be saying, wow, great. Why isn't New Yorker something there, too? Something's going to happen. But I don't. Right. I don't feel like that. I'm worried it's just going to be another investigation. And to be honest with you, I have to ask you this, Sam. You tell me. I need your thoughts on this. I'm struggling with this. I used to be a big fan of John Ratcliffe.

[00:04:52] He had supposedly handled all the investigations about election integrity, and he was doing this and doing that when he was in the Trump administration. And I was hopeful he was going to come out with this incredible report. And nothing came out. And I started to question his integrity, his loyalty, his honesty. And now here he is in the new administration as a CIA director, right? Yep.

[00:05:15] And I am concerned because all of a sudden we're supposed to be amazed that Ratcliffe just referred evidence of Brennan's misconduct to the FBI director, of course, Cash Patel, for criminal review. But you tell me, shouldn't he have known this in the first administration when he was investigating everybody? Yeah. And shouldn't he have been making criminal referrals and been very vocal then? How come all of a sudden he's now got the goods? Can I give you three words?

[00:05:45] Sure. Intentional slow walk. Exactly. We're going to make this, you know, everybody knows it's a problem, so we're going to keep it in the news. We're going to talk about former CIA director John Brennan and disgraced former FBI director James Comey. We're going to tell you they did bad things. They lied to Congress. They, well, the full scope of the investigation is not even clear. The details, we don't even have all of it. It's kind of secret. But don't worry, we passed it to Cash. Cash is going to dig into it.

[00:06:13] And my response is, how come this guy hasn't been in jail for like eight years already? Because they're going to slow walk it. They bring it up literally six, seven months after Donald Trump gets in power again. They literally then say, hey, we'll talk about it for a month or two or three so people don't think we've left it alone. We're going to pass it along. And then what you're going to hear from Cash Patel and clowns next, you know, June or July or right before the election is because it'll be a flash in the pan so we can get it, you know, wash our hands of it so we don't have to discuss it.

[00:06:40] And we're simply going to slow walk this sucker and Cash is going to come out and say, listen, they lied to Congress. But it's really no harm, no foul, because, you know, well, we're past that. And who really wants to focus on that now? We've got the elections coming up. Let's talk about all the incredible things the Donald Trump administration has done, shall we? You game for that, Lance? Let's talk about all the incredible things we've done. Tax breaks to, you know, we released the JFK files to, you know, and they're just going to go down the list.

[00:07:09] Next, that's all that's going to happen. Intentional slow walk is my only response to this. I mean, and I think you're right. You know, I think Donald Trump was assuming that that cabinet meeting he was going to roll in and he was going to talk about their incredible response and the terrible tragedy in Texas. And he was going to talk about the great things they have going on. But but I have to tell you, it was naive of him.

[00:07:37] He was naive to believe that that cabinet meeting was going to go in the direction that he had assumed it would go or maybe that he planned on it going or maybe that they had thought they could orchestrate and control it to go. So social media lit up right after that cabinet. It just lit up. And I was on the phone with many, I would consider relatively, you know, sharp, high profile individuals in and around government.

[00:08:03] And, you know, everybody like myself included, you know, I want to defend the Donald. I want to defend our president. But I think there's just too much of this. The American public, it's piling up. And if there's a unifying moment between conservatives and liberals, this is it. They are very tired of the government saying one thing and doing another and lying. And I don't think this is going to go away.

[00:08:31] In fact, this is a defining moment in the presidency. I believe there's a way to fix this, but it would take some hard choices. And I think the first thing you'd have to do is probably fire Pam Bondi and most likely Dan Bongino. What about Cash Patel? I think that because of Cash's popularity, I think he'd have to have a sit down and they'd have to come and have a come to Jesus discussion with the public and explain more than they're explaining.

[00:09:01] See, the problem is they're doing the same thing that government officials always do, right? They're acting like they don't have an obligation to really explain what they're doing. But somehow they're able to operate in the shadows. And that's where the good cop, bad cop comes in because Pam would say this. You know, Donald was about to shut it down. I offered to stand up and tell you guys what's really happening. She's trying to pitch herself as because think of the Donald and Pam. I know she lied. But think of the way that went down between Donald and Pam. So Donald almost shuts it down.

[00:09:29] And then Pam's like, but listen, I'll speak to this. And then she basically, you know, laid out her lies. But the point that I'm getting at is I don't see how that couldn't have been scripted. It was good cop, bad cop. Donald is incensed. Acts like, how dare you? And then Pam's the voice of reason. Hey, you know what? I'm the attorney general. And this is the deal. And absolute misdirection and lies. But at the end of the day, it's like, hey, we've responded to this as transparently as we can. I told you. We looked at it.

[00:09:58] So it's deceiving a lot of people. But here's my biggest fear. Are we going to have MAGA fractured over several of these issues now to where Donald Trump doesn't have support like he thought he had? They've already been fractured for a while. I know. Here's what's happening. Is this the final nail, though? Not really. I'm going to say this to you. MAGA is already fractured. The conservatives are already fractured.

[00:10:22] And when I say fractured, there's people on the far, far end of the spectrum that are getting paid, paid operatives by different groups at the high level on social media and the news. Go ahead and skip the break. Continue that. The other end of the spectrum, those are the extremists, and then you've got the middle of the road.

[00:10:40] In the chat rooms, on social media, in phone calls, in Zoom calls, everybody is extremely unhappy across the board with this administration. Now, are there the people like Cattur that will just blindly follow because they're paid and they're making money on it? Sure. Cattur will continue to do what he's doing because he's making money and that's how he lives his life.

[00:11:05] But the truth is, common sense is ingrained in the conservatives, right? It's ingrained in MAGA. And they are questioning what they're seeing because here's the problem. This is the fact. This is what I don't like about this administration. I believe they're calling the people that have supported them unequivocally for 10 years. I believe they're saying, you're stupid. We think you're stupid.

[00:11:29] We think that you're the echo chamber and the peanut gallery, and we can control you just by telling you whatever we want. Because they have done some of that in the past. And the people have gone along with it because it wasn't a deal breaker. But transparency, accountability, consequences are a deal breaker. Don't worry, we're going after John Brennan, and we're going after James Comey. So don't worry about it. We got you. We're still going to do this. And everybody believes, hey, man, Donald is playing 3D chess, baby. All you got to do is be patient.

[00:11:59] I don't think so. He's going to come down and deliver. That's the lie that we've been told that now people are waking up and going, no. Listen, all that enjoy the show, popcorn, 5D chess garbage, I don't think anybody's buying it anymore. I think they might have had some of that still because that Q narrative thing did such a good job. Of brainwashing people. You know, oh, enjoy the show. It's happening. It's going on behind the scenes. Did you just see the 17 flags behind Donald Trump? All that garbage, right?

[00:12:27] The truth is people know it's garbage. And more and more people are saying, I'm not buying it anymore. And now Donald Trump pops off and says something that nobody believes or agrees with because there's too much evidence. There's too much information. They're already questioning Pam Bonney. Most people think Pam Bonney was a horrible choice. And that goes across the board. I'm not talking about the far end of either end of the spectrum. Across the board, people think Pam Bonney is too weak for the job. They're questioning Cash Patel.

[00:12:55] And everybody believes that Cash Patel and Dan Bongino are great American patriots. They followed them for years, right? They bought their books. They supported their shows. They are questioning everything they ever knew about them. But I think we're in a whole different spot because when the feeds filled up right after this thing, it went ballistic. And the problem they've done, what they're underestimating is they've now given a polarizing event for the right to somewhat listen to the Democrats.

[00:13:25] And as crazy as that sounds, I saw some interactions yesterday where Democrats were saying, well, what happened to the guilty Epstein guy? Right now, all of a sudden, they're kind of flipping a little bit because they see an opportunity to take a shot at the Donald. And what was weird is I was watching conservatives engage with them and go, well, I hate to admit it, but you're right. Now, that is very dangerous for Donald Trump in this administration. He is underestimating that people have lived on every single word that's come out of his mouth.

[00:13:55] They have hung on every comment, every nuance, every hand gesture. And that was all supposed to lead to, oh, yeah, we're arresting everybody. And instead, it's, oh, no, they're not guilty. Oh, no, we don't have a client list. Oh, no, there's no information. Oh, we don't know about that. Oh, no, leave for Hillary alone. Here's the question. Is Trump intentionally handing it back to the Democrats now? We've had our turn. We'll hand it back. I don't know. That's above my pay grade.

[00:14:25] But you've got to wonder that at this point, don't you? I wonder about everything. My problem is, is that there's just too many things that make you go, hmm. You know, it's like that song. Things that make you go, hmm. I'm just going to tell you there's just too much of it. Well, it reminds me of a book. Pam Bondi, her saying, I just did an interview on Fox News. Everybody knows Pam Bondi's done 20, 30, 40 interviews on Fox News. What happened to supporting Altmedia?

[00:14:54] What happened to getting interviews and getting these people to come in and ask the hard questions? They're acting like every other administration. They're staying away from the hard questions. They're trying to control the narrative. Well, Pam went on Fox News, and they say they're going to report, I decide. So I'm deciding that I think Pam's a clown. I think she's absolutely lying. And Fox is helping her carry the ball. Shame on the ball. And they're criminals. And a buddy of mine, Pat Shannon, is his name. He's a private investigator, a news reporter, a great guy.

[00:15:21] Anyway, Pat Shannon wrote a book, and the book is called Everything They Ever Told Me Was a Lie. But Lance, they can legally lie to you. So what do you expect? There's nothing you can do about it, buddy. Yeah. Well, you know, like I said a little bit earlier, the speech and debate clause is frightening. I think it's a constitutional crisis in its own right. Because, of course, I know it started out with the best intentions. The founders and framers wanted to give congressional members the opportunity to not have to do that, right? That they wouldn't have to worry about what they said on the floor otherwise.

[00:15:51] But here we are in a situation when they've weaponized it. They're sitting there and just lying. And now they've got the media, C-SPAN and everybody else, just pumping out the narrative. So if you get Obama-lite, you know, Hakeem Jeffries in there, and he sits up there for three or four hours lying, that stuff ends up all over social media and clips and all over mainstream media. And, you know, it's a great gaslighting funnel, right? So now, to me, that might be one part of the Constitution that's completely flawed.

[00:16:19] Because, you know, my problem is, is that when you create a different... Well, let's break this down so people get this before we get into more of the details. There's a clip. Oh, please, go ahead. Number five, Liz. We're going to play the clip. Then we're going to talk about it, because I have a different take than the people who are explaining this constitutional reality to you. I've got a different take on it. We'll talk about it, but play the clip first. It's number five. Breaking news. Brooke Singman of Fox News Digital has discovered exclusively that the FBI is now investigating

[00:16:47] the former CIA director, John Brennan, and the former FBI director, James Comey. I guess that's the wrong one. What clip number is this one? Shoot. Oh, all right, five. Here we go. I'm going to tell you that. That might be a death threat, huh? You can, but I can't. So maybe I should say it. There's something in the Constitution called the speech or debate clause. And so I can go to the floor of the House of Representatives and lie. I can tell every lie I want, and nobody can do anything about it.

[00:17:16] And it's called the speech or debate clause. Our staff... Yeah, look this up. The speech or debate clause found in Article 1, Section 6 of the U.S. Constitution protects members of Congress from being questioned in any other place for their speech or debate in either house. So let me read it again. Protects members of Congress from being questioned in any other place. Which means you can't be questioned in a courtroom. You can't be sued. No way. You can't be... Now read the next sentence, though, because there's a good reason for it.

[00:17:44] This clause, rooted in historical struggles for parliamentary independence, aims to safeguard the independence and integrity of the legislative branch by preventing interference from the executive or judicial branches. So when people... You know, even our founders... This is a hard pill to swallow. Okay. But even... I'm still a bit confused at this moment. Well, even our founders thought that there were some laws that shouldn't apply to congressmen

[00:18:12] because if they did, they would get abused. And like a Democrat president would arrest members of Congress for saying things on the floor of the House because that's what the king did back in England. The king would arrest members of parliament if he didn't like what they said. Ah, I see what you're saying. Or you could get a private individual to sue a member of Congress for something they said.

[00:18:36] And then that would basically freeze the debate and members of Congress would be afraid to speak. They would send their speeches to lawyers before they said them, you know, if this didn't exist. I see what you're saying. So this is kind of a fascinating little part of our constitution. And even though it seems wrong to give members of Congress extra First Amendment protection, the founders thought this was the best way to do it.

[00:19:04] So you could go to court right now and lie on the stand? No. I can lie about anything, but I got to be on the floor of the house or it has to be attached to my official business. So I'm probably covered on social media and I could just say defamatory things about you. I could release national secrets. It's and and this also covers my staff as well.

[00:19:33] God interesting. All right, Lance, there's the premise. They're saying, hey, according to the section of the Constitution, they've basically been given a license to lie. There's a clause in Article one, Section six of the Constitution. It's the speech ordinate clause or whatever you want to call it or whatever. Speech or debate clause. And I understand what's being said. And I think they're on to something that is in the Constitution. It's true.

[00:20:02] You can in the House of Representatives or whatever you can lie. Right. It grants every member of Congress full immunity for whatever they say. On the floor of the House or the Senate, that's fine. I get that. And you can't you know, they say you can't question them in any other place. You can question them anywhere you want to.

[00:20:27] You just can't take whatever they say on the House or the Senate floor and make them liable for their statements. But I can corner my congressman and get him on record as saying something else. If he puts something else on social media, if he puts something else out in a news article, I can bring him into court, swear him under oath, and I can ask him any question I want to. He can lie in Congress. But that doesn't mean that he can't be prosecuted for his actions. He can't be prosecuted for his speech.

[00:20:56] But we can get them under oath and ask them serious questions related to criminal activity that they are either involved in, that they know about, that they're privy to. OK, so let's not pretend this gives them complete amenity. It isn't true. Constitutionally speaking, if you read the clause, it says, hey, you can say what you want to say on the House or Senate floor and we can't prosecute you for it. You have the right to say what you want. Well, I don't think that's a special privilege. I have the right to say what I want to, too, and I can lie anywhere I want to.

[00:21:26] I mean, I understand that. But how dangerous is that? Let me ask you this. If we went out and polled 100 Americans right now and they hadn't listened to our shows and we said, are congressional members allowed to lie on the House or Senate, especially, specifically when they're doing televised events? Are they allowed to completely lie? Hold on a minute. Hold on a minute.

[00:21:55] Hold on a minute. If it's televised, it's not just on the House floor anymore. They're saying it in public now. But you understand that that's what they're saying because they did it on the House floor in the Senate that they can lie. You just heard it from Massey. That was Theo Vaughn. They can't lie in the media, though. It was an interview between Theo Vaughn and Representative Massey. So here's the deal. The question I asked was if you went out and polled 100 Americans and you said, are congressional members allowed to lie? I mean, absolutely lie.

[00:22:25] Make up anything they want on the House and the Senate floor. Yes. Is it legal for them to do that? Yes. They would say no. I would be shocked if anybody didn't say, oh, no, they're not allowed to do it. That's illegal. Right. But it's not. It's legal and it's actually protected free speech. Okay.

[00:22:42] But now you take it and you disseminate it through C-SPAN, CNN, just like all that garbage that Hakeem Jeffries just did when a couple of weeks ago he did that the longest time on the floor of him just talking. Yep. So here's the deal. Like I interviewed this person in the media or I interviewed them somewhere else and I can ask them the same questions. And if they lie off the House floor, now they can be in trouble. Okay.

[00:23:10] But my point is now you've got all these people at home. You've got a whole generation of people that are still watching CNN, C-SPAN, NSNBC, CNN. Right. And they're going to see Hakeem Jeffries, whoever else, just flat lying, making up stuff about Donald Trump, lying about Ukraine, lying about Social Security, lying about the big, beautiful bill. Whatever they're doing. I don't care what it's about. Yeah. Lying about Sam Bushman. Right.

[00:23:35] They could get up there tomorrow and they could sit there and disseminate 10 hours of lies about Sam Bushman. And now it's spread all over CNN, C-SPAN, all over CBS, MSNBC. And then that same dialogue is taken from there. And the Washington Post writes an article. And the New York Times writes an article. And the Wall Street Journal writes an article. And now it's been disseminated all over where it becomes fact. Because what it seems like is they told it on the House floor of the Senate.

[00:24:04] And because of their standing, oh, no, they would never lie about Sam Bushman. He must be a lowlife and a cheat and a liar and, you know, a philanderer. The truth is, this is dangerous. And I don't think it should be allowed. It's absolutely dangerous. But the opposite is dangerous, too, where you can barbecue a congressman or a senator and violate their free speech because they're afraid to say anything. Lawfare is a real thing, too. So now we've got two sides of a coin. Let's talk about it for a second.

[00:24:34] Because I got a question about victims. Okay? Whenever there's a crime, there's a victim. There's no such thing as a victimless crime. Let's talk about that. Hang tight. Lance and Sam on your radio. Pursuing Liberty. Using the Constitution as our guide. You're listening to Liberty News Radio. Breaking news this hour at townhall.com.

[00:25:03] I'm Bob Agnew in Washington. Texas Governor Greg Abbott spoke to the press yesterday after taking an aerial tour of the flood damage in the hill country of Texas. He says the search continues for about 160 people. We will not stop until every missing person is accounted for. Know this also. There very likely could be more added to that list. And the flash flooding over the weekend in the Texas Hill Country and Kerr County in particular left more than 100 people dead.

[00:25:32] Meanwhile, Texas State Senator Paul Betancourt is working on a bill to provide funding for warning sirens in the more flood-prone parts of Texas. It follows devastating flash floods in Texas that killed over 100 people during the 4th of July weekend. The Houston Republican says federal studies show too many people ignore weather alerts on their cell phones. In addition, many kids at summer camp are not allowed to bring cell phones with them.

[00:25:58] Betancourt plans to have the bill ready for the upcoming special session of the Texas legislature, which starts July 21st. Tayshia Stevens reporting. President Trump is defending his timetable for imposing global tariffs. We get an update from White House correspondent Greg Cluxton. After announcing sweeping tariffs in early April, the president issued a 90-day pause. That extension expires this week. And now the tariffs will take effect next month. August 1st, they pay. And everybody pays. Everybody has to pay.

[00:26:28] And the incentive is that they have the right to deal in the United States. [00:30:12] Casting live from atop the Rocky Mountains, the crossroads of the West, you are listening to the Liberty Roundtable Radio Talk Show. Wow. All right, this is live radio, ladies and gentlemen. It's Lance Migliaccio, Sam Bushman on your radio, the big MIG brothers. George had to take a break and take care of a lot of his video responsibilities, so we dismissed George. But, Lance, you got a quick late-breaking tidbit. Sorry to disrupt the talk, but we got to do it. Here it is.

[00:30:42] Yeah, it looks like Linda Yaccarino, the CEO of X, has resigned. Wow. Which is very surprising because she's always acted like she was in for the long haul. Makes you wonder what's going on, but Elon Musk is doing some crazy things. Either he's right as rain or he's crazy. Hard to tell. Here's the deal. Elon Musk has now ignited a firestorm within, quote, conservative circles

[00:31:09] by asserting that Trump, or former Trump advisor, I should say, Steve Bannon, appears in the Jeffrey Epstein files. Now, that's what Elon Musk put out on X, I guess, and the world's blowing up over this thing. What do you say to that, Lance? You know, I don't know enough to know whether or not that's true. So I know it's an allegation at this point, but I do know this.

[00:31:38] I am not a fan of Steve Bannon for a number of reasons. And one of the main reasons is that we know the Russian collusion hoax was fabricated, right? We know the Steele dossier was fabricated. But yet he willingly testified against Roger Stone on information that I don't believe he really knew the facts or the truth. And all he was doing was trying to save his own skin. So that type of guy...

[00:32:05] Well, we know to try to save his own skin, too, he basically, you know, trashed Sam Bushman publicly as well. He trashed me as well. So for me, when a guy lacks integrity and he participated in some kind of, you know, slander or libel of you that I know not to be true, and then he testified against Roger Stone to save his own skin and made things up that weren't even true. So basically, he just went along with what they were doing.

[00:32:34] Anything's possible at that point because I think the guy lacks integrity. So was he involved with Epstein? Did he travel there? Has he been trying to influence behind the scenes to maybe help hopefully that they won't investigate? I don't know. But I will say this. Elon Musk saw a lot while he was with the government. And I think it made him very uneasy.

[00:32:55] I think it probably even made him downright afraid because he was uncovering tremendous amounts of fraud, waste, theft, call it whatever you will. And I know he was getting death threats. I heard that from a very reliable source, a guy that's very well connected within the Secret Service. And that's why they gave authorization to his private security carry SMGs. They were able to carry weapons. They all got certified to be able to.

[00:33:22] So my take, if Elon Musk said it in this case, he might. And I think Elon Musk knows what slander and libel is and defamation because he's brought cases against people for himself. I don't think he'd say that about Bannon if he didn't know it was a fact. And so here's now the point. Let's take the discussion back to the very discussion where they can legally lie in Congress on the House or Senate floor. I agree that's dangerous and can be used as a weapon.

[00:33:50] But you can also do that if you're a public figure. Let's say Steve Bannon and you attack someone. Steve Bannon was one of the early ones to attack Musk when everybody was still in love with Musk in this honeymoon period. Steve Bannon was trashing Musk. So there's some bad blood there from the start. But my point is then, hey, Steve Bannon can trash Sam Bushman. What can Sam do about it? It doesn't matter if it's a congressman on the House floor saying it or a public figure saying it. The damage can be done.

[00:34:20] But there becomes a libel and slander. And Donald Trump promised he would change those laws to where there wasn't a big disparity between a public figure, a celebrity, and the average Joe. See, the average Joe can super libel and slander and get a conviction or a win quite easily. But if you're a public figure or a celebrity such as myself, and I don't really think I'm a celebrity but I'm just making a point, or Lance Miliacho or anybody that's a public figure, they say the bar's way, way higher. Well, that's wrong.

[00:34:49] That violates my free speech. Okay. So this clause is meant to prevent when you're in official capacity as a congressman or a senator from letting you speak your mind and say what you think and whatever else. You could lie, whatever. It's true. You can weaponize it and take advantage of it. But at the end of the day, there's ways to create accountability. One of the ways is this. Expose the lie of the congressman or senator. And then the next election cycle, drum them out of office.

[00:35:17] And then, hey, if they tell that lie in the public anywhere else, you can have media confront them and say, hey, you said this on the House floor. Are you still sticking with that lie? And if they say anything, pretty soon they won't talk anywhere else except for on the House floor. And then, you know, they're criminals and they need to go. And so there's a way to use public humiliation, public accountability, public demands to call some of these people to account. So here's what I would say, Elon Musk. Ready?

[00:35:45] Elon, if you say that former Trump advisor Steve Bannon appears in the Jeffrey Epstein files, I need proof. You either need to put up, buddy, or shut up, Elon. One of the two. And I don't care which it is if you've got the goods delivered. But you understand the problem with that? Well, the problem with that is the damage is already done. Well, let me – I don't disagree with that.

[00:36:13] But at the end of the day, because this has now been basically sealed by the Trump organization, right? It's not – and it may be the status of ongoing investigation. Elon Musk, if he had the actual document that proved that Steve Bannon had been to Lolita Island and was hanging out partying with Jeffrey Epstein. Then it shut down. And he put that out, they would probably bring criminal charges against Elon Musk. That's right.

[00:36:42] And so now the debate rages on. And so what do you do with this situation, ladies and gentlemen, where the president is going to mock you for wanting to dig into the Jeffrey Epstein case? Elon Musk is going to part with the administration and say, hey, Steve Bannon is guilty in this thing. And then for us not to get to the bottom of the truth, Trump's got a dilemma on his hands. And so does Kash Patel and many of these other people now.

[00:37:08] They're either going to basically throw Elon Musk to the wolves and lie and make him shut up and not be able to deliver. Or they're going to have to give him a pass and this piece is going to have to come out. Or what's probably going to happen to the media is that Steve Bannon and Elon Musk are just going to battle back and forth and both of them get more famous and both of them get more rich and we'll never know the truth, which is my prediction. And at the end of the day, ladies and gentlemen, if this is what we want out of our government to let them weaponize every form of our government.

[00:37:37] So the founding fathers put this clause in the Constitution to protect people on the floor in the Senate from lawfare and from abuse to where they could say what they wanted. Now it's being weaponized. So at the end of the day, the courts are going to have to decide, can a congressman just lie anywhere? Or was there an intention by the founding fathers about this? At what point can you lie versus what point can you libel and slander? So you may tell a mistruth on the House floor, but if you libel or slander Sam Bushman, can I sue you for libel and slander?

[00:38:09] Well, all those things aren't covered in this clause in the Constitution. It doesn't talk about that. So at the end of the day, it's going to go to the courts and we're going to have to figure it out. When you have an immoral people at the end of the day, there's no good answers, Lance. I mean, listen, I know you're right. But this is the playing field they've created. And there's so many different classes of Americans, right? There's so many different legal classes that appears.

[00:38:36] Because let's face it, it's not equal application of the law. It's not equal protection of the law. It's not rule of law for everybody. It really comes down to what they decide. They turn it on like it's a hot and cold valve. Hot if it's Sam Bushman, charging with everything. Cold if it's Hillary Clinton. Hot if it's Lance Filiacho, charging with everything. Cold if it's a judge or a federal prosecutor that violated the law. If it's clowns, it's going to continue, right? Yeah, it's not what I voted for.

[00:39:07] I agree 100%. But at the end of the day, if enough Americans are duped and deceived, you know, hey, when the majority of the people choose wickedness, there's nothing that can save us, Lance. Yeah. We're told if we're ignorant and free, that's something that can never be, right? So if the American people are ignorant, we'll never be free. We're also told, hey, this Constitution, these checks and balances were meant for a religious and immoral people.

[00:39:31] And if you're going to violate one of the Ten Commandments and just lie and bear false witness and everything else, hey, there's no way we can really stop you from doing that based on the Constitution. At the same time, hey, we're destroying everything we hold dear. The checks and balances are our solution to restore the republic. They're also the way to divide and conquer the country. And if we're an immoral people, we're going to get what we've got. The only way is to turn back to God and repent. So I don't know if Elon Musk is telling the truth or not. And I don't know if he can release the information or not.

[00:40:00] That's a good question. Maybe Elon Musk needs to sue Steve Bannon or maybe he needs to sue the president of the United States and say, hey, I made a claim and I need to be able to deliver on that claim. But my hands are tied because this thing's been buried by Pam and company. And I don't know what to do here. I made a claim and I need to be able to deliver the truth that I'm telling Steve Bannon is in the Epstein files or or no, he's not. But at some point, we need to be able to verify these things. We need to be able to get to the bottom of those things.

[00:40:29] Maybe we can have another WikiLeaks kind of a person or somebody that can, you know, Julian Assange or somebody that will stand up and leak this information. Hey, if we can't get to the bottom of it legally because they're going to shut it up in the Trump administration, maybe somebody needs to just dump that stuff on the Web. And we'll have the evidence anyway. That's one of the ways to handle it. You know, et cetera, et cetera. I don't know. This is a very tough, tough battle we're up against. But you're right.

[00:40:54] Every tenant of the Constitution is being manipulated, weaponized and is dividing the country. I get the protection of congressmen and senators and their legal responsibilities as servants of the Republic, as elected. But when they act outside of that scope, we shouldn't have protections. So as you've always wisely pointed out, Lance, this 100 percent immunity, no matter what, is a problem. And we need to get away from that. And, hey, the Constitution kind of gives that to them on the House and Senate floor.

[00:41:23] We need to back into that and say, if you're talking about things that you have an opinion on, you can lie. But if you libel and slander somebody or if you literally peddle something that you clearly know to be false, at what point does it become fraud as opposed to lying? And the courts are going to have to figure all that out until before we just, for the most part, had moral people and they didn't really do that. Now we've got immoral people exploiting this and weaponizing this, and at some point we're going to have to stand up and rein it in.

[00:41:52] And if we don't, we only have ourselves to blame. So I don't disagree with the general point being made. I guess I'm just saying this is a lot more complicated than just saying, hey, they have a license to lie and there's nothing we can do about it. A lot of this will be decided in the courts. A lot of this will be decided by we the people. What are we going to do? Are we going to allow them just to lie on the floor just because they can? Does that mean we're going to let them? In the old days of our republic, we had very few laws. But most people didn't break the laws because they were good, honest, moral, self-governed people. Now everybody breaks all the laws. We've got to have a gazillion commandments.

[00:42:22] And we think that's going to stop people. That doesn't stop criminals. You can't stop Congress members from lying. So I don't really want to put a law in place to stop them at the same time. I don't want them to be above reproach and have complete immunity. And I don't want them to be able to, you know, get away with that forever. At some point there needs to be accountability. And if we the people don't step up and mandate that, it's not going to happen. So I agree we're in trouble, Lance. I mean, you know, I know what we were hoping for.

[00:42:52] And so far we're not getting it. And, you know, there's so many areas that need to be focused on and so much that needs to be fixed. And, you know, everybody keeps telling me, oh, well, they've only been there for six months. I don't think we have any time. We're out of time, buddy. We've already blown it and wasted our time. We've passed two big expense bills. We're just suspending ourselves into oblivion. And it's disaster. Now I hear there's supposed to be a big, beautiful two and three and four, and it's going to reduce spending. I don't have any confidence. Yeah.

[00:43:22] You know, Sam, I'm afraid to say that I feel the same way. And people will probably tell me, oh, you're turning on Donald Trump and you're turning on. No. False. I'm just, I'm trying to use common sense. I'm looking at the actions and actions always speak louder than words. And we're praising any good action we can find. And we just talked about, hey, the taking off of shoes in the context is not that big of a deal, but it's good. And we support it. You don't have to take off your shoes anymore to go to the airport. That's good. Good. We're calling it as we see it.

[00:43:50] Let's go to Alcatraz, the alligator version. By the way, I went to the real Alcatraz in California a couple of weeks ago. Pretty interesting. But anyway, the alligator Alcatraz, I guess there's an inmate there, illegal inmate, that basically says, hey, nobody in their right mind would want to go there. He only speaks Spanish, doesn't speak English. He tells how horrible conditions are. Let's play this and then we'll talk about it.

[00:44:19] Lianz Izquierdo on the phone describing what it's like inside the so-called alligator Alcatraz. Says he's been at the detention facility out in the Everglades since Friday. No water to bathe, he says. It's been four days since he showered. 400 people, he believes, are inside the facility. Only gets fed once a day, he says. And some of the food had warms.

[00:44:46] Detention center lights are on 24-7. The mosquitoes, he says, are the size of elephants. Izquierdo's partner, Katia, says he's a permanent resident who was arrested last week. First taken to TGK, then to Miramar, and finally to the Everglades facility. Good morning, sir. You speak English? No. Here is Izquierdo in Boncourt last Thursday.

[00:45:14] They're charged with aggravated assault with deadly weapon and battery. The police report says it all has to do with a violent dispute with a tow company worker who was trying to repossess a jet ski. Now back to the call. Complaints they're not allowed to go outside and the tents are freezing. Lance, I don't know that I even buy this report. What do you say?

[00:45:43] Well, he's not the only one. But no, I'm not buying that he's telling the truth. I don't believe that they're only getting fed one time a day. Sure, maybe it is cold. Maybe they've got too much air conditioning pumping in there. I did some close-up looks at the tent. There was clearly some kind of HVAC systems on the outside. I don't know anything about non-flushing toilets. That wouldn't be the first time a prison complained about not flushing toilets. But, you know, of course he's exaggerating. He came here.

[00:46:09] If you saw the photos of this guy, one of the photos that's been circulating is him dressed out in Versace and, you know, all kinds of jewelry on and some kind of a custom, you know, Escalade-type vehicle. You know, so the guys, I don't know what he's doing for a living. Maybe it's all legit. But sure, he's complaining. But don't come here illegally. I mean, the message is simple. Listen, let's face it, Sam. I want to see you try to illegally emigrate to Dubai. You're probably not going to happen. China.

[00:46:38] How about Singapore? We're the only fools on the international stage. Yeah. All right. Now, here's the questions that I have, though. He says the mosquitoes are huge, right? Wait, that's true. Okay, hold on. Mosquitoes are huge. How can the mosquitoes be huge if it's cold? Well, listen, I can't tell you how the mosquitoes that he's seeing or talking to or biting him. But I will say, I'm going to vouch for this. Sam, the bugs are bigger in Florida.

[00:47:08] I agree 100%. I agree 100%. But this idea that the bugs are huge but it's freezing cold doesn't make sense. Yeah. No, I agree. Okay. So if you're outside enough for it to be cold all the time. Now, the only way is if you're inside and there's air conditioning and then you're outside and the bugs are huge. Okay, maybe. But he didn't explain that. He's just everything he says is like this is the most horrible place in the world.

[00:47:34] And I'm not saying it's, you know, the Taj Mahal or whatever or, you know, the penthouse. I'm not saying that. But I'm saying this guy makes it sound bad like, oh my gosh, the mosquitoes are big. So what? They're big for everybody in Florida, aren't they? They're not just big for the illegals, are they? You got bigger mosquitoes for the illegals out there than you do for the rest of the population? Is that what you're saying? See what I mean? Sure. I mean, the mosquitoes are the same size whether you're a free guy running around or whether you're whatever.

[00:48:04] Now you can say, wait a minute, Sam. The mosquitoes are way bigger in the Everglades than they are for everybody else where there's mosquito abatement. Okay, I'll go there. But not if it's cold. And if it's cold inside and outside, which do you want to go outside and have the mosquitoes or inside and stay cold if it's air conditioning? If there's no air conditioning, which I'm guessing there's not, I wouldn't put air conditioning in there for the prisoners, then my question becomes it's either cold and there's not mosquitoes because mosquitoes hibernate in the cold or they die, depending on how cold and how long it is, right?

[00:48:32] Anyway, all I'm telling you is you look at this thing and I don't buy a word of it. The guy can't speak English. We're hearing a translator in the first place. Supposedly they get this guy on the phone and he's just going to ramp off how horrible it is for him. And by golly, we've got to look out for the illegal poor prisoner. That's the story, right? And I'm not buying it. Yeah. Listen, I think they're going to tell any story that they can get any media source to listen to. That's right.

[00:48:59] They're going to spin it in any way they can because we're wrong for deporting illegal immigrants. Are there less bugs? Are the bugs smaller, say, in Guantanamo Bay, for example? You know, I don't know. I don't know. Thankfully, I haven't spent any time there yet. But I'm just saying, so it's that kind of stuff where I go, okay, is it less tropical and less than Florida and Cuba? I mean, listen, I hear you.

[00:49:28] I hear what you're saying. All I'm saying is I get the point. I'm not debating the mosquitoes are big. I'm sure they are. I'm just saying the mosquitoes are the size of elephants. And by golly, and the tents, man, they're freezing in there. Okay. How is that? Explain yourself more. So the story leaves a lot to be desired. However, you know what? I'd like to go visit Alligator Alcatraz. You think you can help me arrange that, Lance? Yeah.

[00:49:57] Roll in there with Pam Bondi and roll in there with Ron, what's his face? You know, I don't know. I don't know if they're giving tours anymore. Oh. You might have to get a fake ID. Just recently. Get a fake ID and get yourself an accent. And then maybe you can convince them that you're an illegal temporarily. You can get an inside view. That's the last thing I want. I will agree with this gentleman that, you know what? That's the last thing we want, right? And I agree that no one would want to stay there.

[00:50:27] Isn't that the point, though? To basically get illegals to be like, man, I better leave the country. I don't want to end up in the mosquitoes that look like elephants deal. So I better leave. Wasn't that the intention? You know, I want to tell you something interesting. I was at the post office yesterday mailing out some documents and needed a Senate certified mail. And I was in there and there was some Hispanic speaking individuals, about half a dozen of them.

[00:50:54] And they had about 20 or 30 boxes, large boxes. I mean large, like the size of plastic container size. And they were shipping them internationally. And it appeared to me they were shipping all their clothes and getting ready to leave the country. They're ready to go, buddy. I'm sorry, what? They're ready to leave. And that's good news. Yeah. We need that, right? You wouldn't have seen voluntary leaving prior to this.

[00:51:22] But now they're hearing about alligator Alcatraz. And that's the great thing about alligator Alcatraz. It's a deterrent. Amen. Did we lose you, Lance? No, I'm here. Okay. Yeah, I agree. And I think that's good news. And so this guy makes it sound like it's horrible. I'm sure glad it's not awesome there. I'm sure glad he's not going like, hey, bring one, bring all. This is incredible, man. You get pizza for dinner and you get, you know, this is awesome.

[00:51:51] I don't know what he expects it to be like. But if you go visit the Alcatraz of yesteryear, which I just did, it wasn't very nice there, buddy. I'm telling you right now. It was cold there, too. It was freezing cold. Like California, humid, bone-chilling cold stuff. And so it was like that then. Again, we expect it to be different for illegal aliens now? Now, they want you to believe this guy was, hey, he was a citizen almost.

[00:52:19] I mean, he was like a permanent resident or whatever. The guy can't even speak English. Do we want that going on? What if there's an accident? You can't even have the guy tell you what's wrong unless you find a translator. I mean, at some point, there's got to be America. And that doesn't mean that Spanish is a bad language. It just means if you're going to live here and if you're going to have, you know, residency or whatever you want to call it, we're going to expect some degree of competency of the

[00:52:46] language, of the customs, of the, right? And that's what I think is missing in America. So anyway, very interesting propaganda-type story that we see from, where did that clip come from, by the way? Who took that clip? The alligator clip? Yeah. You know, I don't know. I think we got it from Gateway Pundit. I didn't see who the original source was. All right. I could look it up. But all I'm telling you is very, very interesting. Last story of the hour.

[00:53:14] There's a new poll, and it's done by the Epoch Times. And they want to know, what's your take of the big, beautiful bill? So go to theepochtimes.com, and you can take that poll. I took it. And they ask a lot of interesting questions about, you know, do you think it was, what do you think the best thing about it was? What do you think the worst thing about it was? And all these questions. And I answered the poll. You can do the same. They claim they're going to come out with the results on Saturday or whatever. All I can tell you is the big, beautiful bill is an absolute disaster. Five trillion dollars increase at the debt ceiling.

[00:53:44] We're spending ourselves into oblivion. There's all kinds of bad things in the 900-plus page bill that we don't even know about yet. It is disaster. And I believe if the Republicans aren't very careful, that will be their landmark failure. Even though they claim a lot of good to it, it's going to come back and haunt us. You've got about 25 seconds. What do you think of the big, beautiful bill, Lance? Not liking it. What do you think the best thing in it is?

[00:54:10] You know, maybe some of the immigration, the new funding for Tom Homan. Amen. And some of the tax cuts. But ladies and gentlemen, there's so much bad in it, it's disaster. And sadly, anybody that stood against it, telling the truth, now they're being attacked by the Donald. It's a sad tale to tell, but we're telling the truth. We are truth tellers.
