[00:01:46] Meanwhile, a couple of quick headlines that I want to share with Mac, who's with me now to speak about. The first one, it looks like our debt is now at $35 trillion as of Monday. Sheriff, do you want to respond to this? Yes, I'm Unilelli.

[00:02:10] I always address this topic what a disaster it is and it's probably Sam, it's the result of utter corruption in Washington DC. I include that with the top three most corrupt things happening in Washington DC and there's a bunch. Probably abortion, be in the first one.

[00:02:36] The existence of the bullies known as the IRS and it's linked to this one, which the propaganda and the brainwashing is this that it is so accepted by those in power

[00:02:52] that it's okay to spend money you do not have and to put our nation and our children and our grandchildren in in slaving debt is just fine because it's worked for so long. And no one in Washington DC except for maybe Randall and a couple other

[00:03:14] spot right conservatives ever say anything about it and even though the fact has even the top battles right now, Kala Harris, even the two battling people right now, come on here's no nobody's talking about change in that direction of the debt.

[00:03:30] Oh no, no and I do like what Trump has been saying about get rid of the income tax but I don't think he can do that until he gets rid of some or all of the debt. Well, and we've got to do it anyway.

[00:03:48] Get rid of the income tax or even if you get rid of tips, even if you put tariffs at the borders all of his great suggestions unless you massively reduce spending and shut down and constantly do you think that's what the United States is.

[00:04:00] It's an unstarter because it won't work. Yeah exactly and he's talking about getting rid of maybe 75% of the Department of Education but it's going to have to be that with a lot of agencies and it's going to have,

[00:04:15] you know it's going to take some real strong leadership and real strong medicine for the American people, but this national debt is a disaster waiting to happen and it's not just a national disaster when this, when this marks the right. When you follow the world falls.

[00:04:34] Yeah exactly and so it's really Sam, so dishonest and so corrupt that the American people have also become numb to it and oh well if the politicians think this is okay then yeah give me my share

[00:04:50] raise money more for us and it also shows Sam we don't need the IRS, we don't need collections because they could just stack what they keep coming after us for. They could just stack that on the national debt if they can do on the national debt for everything

[00:05:06] else why not just leave us alone and not charge us any income tax. They could just stack that every year they do it on everything else. It's so absurd it's funny but it's true and very strange stuff.

[00:05:20] All right before we move to our guest and I want to be quick about this but I've got to mention that sometimes because last hour I couldn't really talk about political stuff either due to the nature of the guest.

[00:05:31] But text messages all through timeline of Trump's shooting local SWAT snipers now spotted this Matthew Crook's guy almost two hours. I had a time and with these text messages they even say hey this guy's sitting in a picnic table.

[00:05:53] Hey wait a minute now I'm seeing him with a range finder looking towards the stage. FYI you need to let the secret service snipers know about this. I'm leaving my shift but I'm passing this along.

[00:06:09] All this communication happened they knew in plenty of time I don't believe there was a communication right down, Sheriff. Well there definitely was a communication breakdown from the very beginning and the local police and

[00:06:23] chair office deputies and officers who participated with the secret service said there was going to be a between all agencies and the secret service and one testified that that briefing never happened.

[00:06:39] Now I want to stop you there and I want to pivot that discussion because we can go on about that for hours and rightfully sell I might add but here's the point.

[00:06:48] Yeah we in our CSPLA resolution highlight this very principle of coordination we say if you're going to come into Sheriff's County you need to notify Sheriff A and there needs to be coordination that's one of the biggest things

[00:07:02] the CSPLA has taught for literally since before your Supreme Court case. Yes that's true Sam and Dave Matt has set the example on that he set it up in Bicorn County Wayne Ome he appeared at our 2012 conference and his health was alien then and

[00:07:23] he since passed away about eight ten years ago and what a great constitutional Sheriff and a great example but this is what we all need to be doing and every sheriff could be so

[00:07:37] big to our training that the political discussion on this needs to go away and the reality of our training needs to take center stage I don't care if you're black or white I don't care if

[00:07:48] your liberal or conservative state I don't give a rip any of that this coordination principle that we've taught about and trained on forever needs to take center stage right now what an opportunity right I'm not

[00:08:01] I'm talking about not even attacking anybody you're drilling in the evening just saying look going forward this is the answer Sheriff. Here it is and you know you look at this in fact some of this is being shown

[00:08:15] television this morning some of the news agencies are still talking about what you're talking about and what we're talking about but if the secret service failed to communicate with the other

[00:08:28] agencies and failed to coordinate their efforts Sam this is getting to the point where it is so obvious that the secret service let it happen and I don't want to talk about that kind of conspiracy theories but Sam the incompetence and the intentional incompetence the intentional failures here

[00:08:55] makes no you can't go any other place you either so incompetent which I don't believe that you were part of the problem and I hate saying that I've worked with the secret service before

[00:09:11] I tend to the FBI National Academy with secret service people that were just wonderful this is not just a huge failure this is absolute unsurutable it can't be that that incompetent Sam you're right about that you're right that 100% and that's why I'm saying look there's a lot of

[00:09:32] business books out there one of them talks about a no blame autopsy and what that means is we dig into the details we find out what happened what went wrong and what we needed to fix it without pointing

[00:09:43] fingers at any people we just simply say okay look communication broke down that's clear whether it was intentional or not I don't know whatever all I'm telling you is look how do we prevent that

[00:09:53] going forward and the answer is this coordination principle the answer is this resolution we put together and the answer is the training we provide and we got an incredible training event coming up

[00:10:05] to speak of that and I'll let you introduce our guest. Well let's see where do you start with Bill Mitchell because he is the director of Florida Foundation for Freedom and he's the director

[00:10:20] for the CSPWA in the state of Florida and he's working so hard on this and he said me out to Florida four times this year for five or six day tours each one and Florida is right and he's doing

[00:10:37] a fantastic job making it so so Bill Mitchell welcome to Liberty Roundtable. Well thank you Sheriff Max Thornin to be here. He's also a business man he's a dear friend

[00:10:51] and a whole lot more why don't we have you just brief us on the conference coming up a little bit and then we'll dig into some of the details and I wanted to highlight that misstep for

[00:11:01] the Secret Service and all this coordination because I really think that's where the CSPWA takes center stage really right Bill. Yeah we're definitely the training the awareness definitely needs to come back to really the basics because as you said Sam this is in a political issue this isn't

[00:11:19] Republican Democrat independent it this is about the Constitution this is about coming back to the basics of what makes for a prosperous nation what makes for a nation of people that can continue to enjoy the freedoms and the liberties that we were designed to have that

[00:11:37] fosters a healthy economy and a healthy people in the whole healthy country. All right we've got an event coming up ladies and gentlemen as you know we've done training events over the years

[00:11:50] big training events a lot of them are Las Vegas a lot of them have been in Missouri or different the latest we've had a new York I mean all over the place but this one now is in Florida

[00:12:01] it's September the 7th Bill. That's right we're actually going starting the evening of the sixth we have a couple of things that are going on in the evening that we've got a meeting greet we have a special presentation for county commissioners and sheriffs and the whole idea behind

[00:12:17] is to start a conversation that actually probably really began in the 1990s with a lot of the attacks on the second amendment that sort of intensified after COVID and when people said gosh it's not

[00:12:29] just our second amendment rights that are endangered it's our entire Constitution that is at risk and so that conversation started with the whole idea that we need to do something to protect

[00:12:42] our constitutional rights which is exactly the message of the CSPOA is to get back to the basics on the Constitution and truly enforce those things and so that's what this conference is all about

[00:12:56] it's about being able to forward what we've seen a numbers of county boards since I don't know if you've seen the stats or not but 61% of all of the states and counties in America find on to some kind

[00:13:09] of second amendment legislation to protect the second amendment okay 61% that's how concerns since the 1990s people have been about their second amendment rights that's spite after 2021 when the COVID happened and you saw more folks joining on to it because of the concern about

[00:13:29] what happened to their constitutional rights then as well so in Florida we had actually forced different counties come on board with a constitutional county resolution or ordinance of some that basically restated that excuse me but we're going to take the lesser magistrates position here

[00:13:49] and say if you come into our county and you're trying to do something to this blatantly unconstitutional we're not going to go along with that we're going to absolutely uphold the Constitution

[00:13:58] in this county and that's against in kind of state or federal sort of incursion into that so the sort of a really high points of our conference is going to be having the attorney as well as the county commissioner that put that in place and call your county

[00:14:16] which is one of the most aggressive one of those don't be speaking at our event to let people see how that was done what can you expect to have happen when you start to put constitutional

[00:14:30] pieces of legislation in a county level. Chef? Well you know Bill said it really well and it's amazing that so many counties did take action the last 10, 15 years to try to secure it

[00:14:50] and now all we ask is that the sheriff's and counties try to come together in increasing that take it to the next level and Bill said something very profound we have no responsibility whatsoever

[00:15:07] to go along with federal or state bureaucrats who come into our counties and deny the rights of the people defy the Constitution and go against the Bill of Rights which is the Supreme

[00:15:21] of the Supreme Law the Land and so not only do we have a position that we take it with CSP8 and hope that the sheriff's do the same and that is that we won't go along but that we will take

[00:15:35] action to prevent it. We don't go along with the abuse and then we do something to stop it which is the ultimate requirement of government and protecting the people and to assume for anyone to assume

[00:15:54] like Mary McCord and our other big trackers and critics that we would be required as sheriff to go along with tyranny. How absurd can you get? The purpose of government is to protect the rights

[00:16:10] of the people and when government officials come in and don't do it we have to sit back and go man I wish we could do something about it. Wow I wish I could keep my oath of office. No we will

[00:16:21] keep it we will stand and we will prevent the abuse and it's a peaceful effective process, peaceful peaceful peaceful bold yes but it's peaceful. I want to focus on that hold on just second Bill

[00:16:38] I really want to focus on that peaceful aspect because you know they always want to tie us to some kind of a violent act or some kind of a whatever. You know what they've never been able to cite

[00:16:50] even one stitch of evidence for their dishonest false claims sheriff and at our last event I threw down a thousand bucks if they could you know tie me or you to any violent events at all

[00:17:04] and now you've made it $10,000 and nobody's called sheriff. Yeah well I would still love to debate Mary McCord or anybody else from the Southern Public Law Center from IREHR from ADL ADL won't even

[00:17:24] take our calls but that's the anti-deflammationally and they defamus all the time and they don't care and so it's quite a bit of hypocrisy out there and you know I was still loved to go live

[00:17:38] on CNN and debate anybody there because it's the truth is on our side and so is the constitution. All right and it's a sort of piggyback. I was just kind of piggyback on that and

[00:17:55] basically a lot of the reasons that this is so important is exactly for that because it's through using the pieces that are already in place which is our sheriff's because our sheriff's are

[00:18:06] our cleals they are our chief law enforcement officers and so in working with them and our county commissioners this is why this conference is so important is because we're basically underscoring the reason why we need to be able to take a stance that is ensuring that our government

[00:18:24] full actions don't violate our constitutional rights and by having sheriffs in conjunction with the county commissioners or supervisors can where you are it gives you both the enforcement aspect as well as the legislative aspect of that to enforce what our founding fathers originally

[00:18:44] wanted for our country so that's one of the main focuses again of the conference that's coming up is to educate people as you said originally Sam is to educate people into how this can be

[00:18:59] done because for instance Chris Hall and Christina Hughes took three years for them to get their resolution passed to finally get a really solid actually ordinance in place that actually made it illegal in their county to do something that was unconstitutional whereas sheriff Eric Flowers

[00:19:20] just recently put a resolution board and he was able to in about two and a half months put that through because he had a he personally as a sheriff brought that to his county

[00:19:32] board of commissioners and said listen we really need to pass this because we passed our second amendment sanctuary county resolution to protect our second amendment well after covid don't when you really need to protect the entire bill of rights and so he was able to do what took

[00:19:48] other folks a lot longer in a very quick time by being able to learn from what's already gone on and how pit the mistakes of people have made in the past and be able to put this through

[00:19:59] and actually put the state and federal governments I noticed that in this county we will fall the constitution sheriff well i actually love that what he said and and i'll take that to the next level what bill just said and we will we will

[00:20:25] follow the constitution here but not only that we will enforce it and we will say to one and all the constitution will be enforced the bill of rights especially because it is the supreme

[00:20:42] even of the supreme part of the constitution it is the list of it's a declaration of rights that was listed by the federal by the founding fathers and they formed the federal government and and i'm sorry i have a hard time apologizing to anyone that we're actually going

[00:21:04] to say we're going to or not say it that we're actually going to enforce the constitution it's the supreme law of the land and it is the foundation of america destroy it destroy the foundation you destroy the rest of the american edifice and so we don't we're not

[00:21:25] going to accept that anymore and this is the year we've got to make that decision which do we preserve the communist manifesto or the bill of rights this is the year we're making that decision

[00:21:41] and that's why this well said amen to that and i want to really say to those who are skeptical all right we had a sheriff in texas that didn't know who we were has they was Scott Williams

[00:21:55] sheriff Scott Williams and what is it core y'all county texas i think and uh Scott Williams basically didn't know who we were but a patriot went to him a dear friend of ours and said hey

[00:22:09] you got to come check out this conference and Scott went now those guys are nut cases man i've seen some weird stuff online about those guys and the patriot said no no hold on why don't you give it a chance

[00:22:20] i don't think it's what you know you're you're seeing i don't think they're being accurate there's a lot of fake stuff on the internet why don't you come and assess for yourself and determine for yourself

[00:22:30] that was one of the most brilliant ideas uh i've heard of because instead of you know second hand information internet spend fake news whatever it's like you know what you come and see

[00:22:40] what you think well you at least take the time to do that because i've done that and i'm convinced there's something here valuable for you sheriff and it was done in a very kind appropriate way

[00:22:51] a way that wasn't threatening or you know imposing or anything but it was an invitation a humble direct clear invitation to see for yourself sheriff what happened hey well and that's what we say to everybody come and see for yourself well sheriff Scott Williams

[00:23:10] had the humility to say okay i'll go see for myself his statement even before the seminar was finished was this is the best training i've ever been to in my law enforcement career

[00:23:29] so probably the best training never been to at all in his life because he spent so much time in law enforcement and still does who we are and what we're doing and we've got a stand for the

[00:23:57] and we've got a stand for the constitution and like i say 2024 is going to be the seminal moment for america again i ask which one do you want the communist manifesto or the bill of rights all right we're going to dig into that more as the broadcast unfolds

[00:30:58] the American police officer association I'm sorry a lie it's and the CSP OA countries will share up some peace officers association so bill take it from there what is this meeting where is

[00:31:12] that and who are the speakers okay well start with the the we'll start with the location this is going to be in Orlando for the at the Rosen Schingel Creek Hotel which is a large convention

[00:31:26] center in Tai Potelle and we've invited a thousand people to come to this particular event we have both sheriff county commissioners and just regular citizens of that was like to participate in changing the face of how government is done here in the United States by returning it to

[00:31:48] a constitutional government rather than uh the types of things that we've seen recently because recent events if they tell us anything they underscore the importance of really our need to maintain a really vigilant stance on our rights and that and we can ensure that our government actions are

[00:32:07] in line with the constitution so this this conference is going to address how communities can effectively advocate for and preserve their rights in a balance and responsible manner okay so that's a lot of what the focus is and it's utilizing the key pieces of sheriff's and commissioners

[00:32:28] working together county commissioners and sheriff's working together to be able to enforce the constitution whether that be to a resolution or an ordinance because we're going to be able to in our training people show county officials that if they haven't already looked into we're going to be

[00:32:44] able to show them all of the details of how this can take place in their county and we're going to have constitutional attorneys there that are going to be talking about that uh we're

[00:32:54] going to have uh Christina Shewer who is the one who basically outlined the probably the strongest ordinance that we've seen yet in any county that actually makes it illegal to do anything

[00:33:05] in any particular county and we'll have other attorneys there as well that will be talking about the constitution uh so that we will have a broad range of folks there will also have sheriff's

[00:33:18] like sheriff flowers from Indian River County who like I said before he was able to put together a resolution we get it passed by his county board of commissioners and about two and a half months

[00:33:32] in fact just shortly after our event is when his will be passed on uh the uh just shortly after our conference finishes up so he's going to be our latest uh he'll be the fifth county in Florida

[00:33:46] that has passed a constitutional resolution that is protecting the entire bill of rights so that's the where and why so you'd like to know kind of who right? well yeah I think you gave us a few especially uh the sheriff from Indian River I mean flowers

[00:34:08] is a great guy and so yeah we appreciate him coming and what he's doing and what the work he's knowing and we're trying to get a bunch of other sheriff there obviously from Florida and

[00:34:19] and from from the entire country and we already have a several that have signed up and ready to go so sheriff Bob Songer already has his ticket and he and his wife Randy are already signed up and ready to come let's go sheriff Bob yeah sheriff's dog and

[00:34:41] go ahead no I was going to say that I got Pastor Caleb and is sheriff when Hamilton he's there very excited to come as well sheriff Hamilton's going to have to be there on video because uh he

[00:34:53] is you know contact us online because he couldn't make it physically but he wanted me there so bad he said look at just you know put me up on a screen I'll be happy to be there because I

[00:36:09] what do you want America the constitution or the communist manifesto all right we say the constitution matters we say it's not left right it's not you know black white it's not a republican democrat it's america it's the rule of law it's the proper rule of government

[00:36:26] and we want to back that play a gazillion percent in advocate for freedom so what we're doing is we're taking the current successes that we've had over the years many of them recently in Florida

[00:36:37] I might add that's why we're going to Florida and we're basically educating everyone about those successes and then putting together blue prints or plans to duplicate those successes to all three thousand counties of the nation sheriff that's kind of my thoughts and summary

[00:36:54] of what's happening coming up on September the 6th and 7th in the beautiful state of Florida well that's right it is beautiful and if anybody knows that by now it's me of Chris Cross that state now

[00:37:07] four times this year and we'll make it number five in September and there's 3,086 sheriff in America and realistically speaking we really have the goal of having one third of the sheriff being constitutional trying to establish constitutional counties and making the

[00:37:34] enforcement and adherence to the constitution a vote issue it's part of what we are it's again it's the foundation of america and for us to make excuses and say oh yeah I can't I can't

[00:37:51] stand up the fifth bed will government if they want to come in and do whatever they want to to abuse or even when they're not doing that intentionally they make big mistakes a lot like

[00:38:05] trying to big raid on someone somebody's home and they have the wrong home or they go in and shoot a dog or things that just are totally unnecessary and prove that they just need help

[00:38:19] because these agencies or these agents come from outside some of them come from Washington DC they don't know the lay of the land there in some rural county in Florida or why home mean

[00:46:21] the states and when you read it the only time that the federal government is supreme is one when they stay within their proper lane of their constitutional limitations in other pursuant to the constitution and who everything they do that supreme must be pursuant to the constitution

[00:46:45] and I can't tell you the last time the federal government did anything that was pursuant to the constitution and so they they have very little supremacy but the supremacy doesn't grant

[00:46:58] that the supremacy clause does not grant the federal government cart blocks they get to do whatever they want and yet that is exactly pragmatically what they do every day they think that they are the only judge

[00:47:10] their own power how far their authority extends is up to them and Mary McCorton says yeah we have to go along with that's that's the design of the constitution was she's out of her head

[00:47:22] and not only that Scalia is talking right to her when he said the federal government was delegated only quote discreet enumerated powers in quote and that's it and of course the mac Prince case and the only time in history were sheriff stood the federal government and one
